RE: Torco Fuels' 100% nitro - anyone have problems?
i bought a lot of straight nitro from Torco. no trouble. i was watching NHRA drag racing today one car had a Torco sticker on it. i dont recommend mixing your own nitro, ill just leave it at that.

i think its like this, its no different than a street ic engine. dont let it over heat, dont over rev it, but dont let the revs go to low, dont over load it, keep it oiled. what think?

RE: coleman camp fuel (white gas) to help winter starting
iam not a fuel expert. but for starting easily l look at the flash point. nitromethane 95F, methyl alcohol 52F, acetone 0F, naptha 100-107 F, gasoline -45F. thats why top fuel cars use gasoline to start nitro fuel engines. so which would you want to use for daily driving? methyl alcohol, or gasoline?

RE: I need parts for my jato
any time you break the ront of a jato be sure to check that you didnt break the a-arm steel pins. if you cant pill the broken part you have to grind the plate behind the pin so you can push it out.

warning, don not mod a slipper clutch to locked up solid. i locked my Jato up and it knocked the trans gears out faster than i can put them in. i guess the factory knows what they are doing.

RE: Brazing vs Silver soldering
if you need an easy way to stop the solder, just take pencil and mark the area that you dont want the solder. you can solder/braze up to it and stop. but you can force past the pencil mark if you really want.
