RE: FEJ Where We're Goin' Tomorrow
Bob I hear where you coming from but lets be realistic, how many people can afford to purchase a sled that large and put two 160 size turbines in it? I think that FEJ have a plethora of large models now and need to concentrate on the smaller sizes. Firstly fix the ones released already and secondly trying to lure the first timers with the smaller cheaper models. If you FEJ can provide a good first time experience for a new jet modeller than they will get repeat business when the customer wants to upgrade. I personally can't see them selling more than 20 - 30 big F18s just due to the fact that customers will need a truck to move it. Not exactly a sunday flier. My two cents.

Building a fuse
Hi guys, I have access to a couple of professionally built moulds and need to know if anyone can point me in the right direction. Basically I need directions from start to finish on how to lay up a fuse in the mold. Maybe youtube or some other? Thanks.

RE: New pipes being developed by UKR-JETS
HI all, just wanted to show you the first batch of pipes I ordered off Alex. Turned up today, no damage and one of the best professionally packed products I have ever seen. The only way these would be damaged would be if they were run over by a truck! Thanks Alex.

RE: Another new F100, Skymaster
Same old same old. Its getting really tiresome with all the same models coming out. Why can't these chinese manufacturers make something different for a change, unless they are coming from the same mold........

RE: New pipes being developed by UKR-JETS
HI Alex, the pipe looks great! The first pipe is now installed and have flown twice. It is better suited than the original pipe. Has a different sound too for some reason. All up a great product thanks!

RE: Merlin Kero Start
Maybe you should be asking these questions to the person you bought the engine off? Seems like a waste to convert it back to gas start. Just get it sorted first.

RE: FLy Eagle Jet Models
Wessa, as I said 12kg MG on the Stabs is more than fine. They will not need more than 12kg of force even diving at the ground as I have tried it. Have fun!

RE: JetJoe JJ-1400 Start-Up Problems
I'm also guessing you have the fuel and gas solenoids plugged into the other. Try swapping where they plug into the ecu and give it a start. Please let us know the outcome.

RE: LiFePO4 batteries
Thanks for the info guys. Attached is my charger manual, it is for a triton but they are similar. I have attached a photo. After looking at the link Guver it seems my packs are missing the power wires? It has the balance wires only? Also when I select 2s1p on the website it shows 1 red and 2 black for the balance plug, my pack has 1 red and 3 black. Sorry for all the questions but I'm trying to figure out how to use these safely and cannot for the life of me sort out the wiring.

LiFePO4 batteries
Hi guys, I have just purchased 2 LiFePO4 packs: 1. 6.4v 3000mah 20C 2 9.6v 4200mah 20C I am new to these packs so could anyone help me with: a. Charging, I have a Swallow 2 AC/DC and can't get it to switch from LiPO to Li ion b. Do these packs need balancing as the packs only came with 4 wires, 1 red and 3 black? And which black wire do you solder to the negative on the deans? c. Do you need to cycle them? Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

RE: How do I tighten up a full flying stab???
Either way you do it good luck. The way I did it has been successful and I imagine is less brittle than Ca is. I've got at least 20 flights on it now. Just be sure it doesn't stick!

RE: How do I tighten up a full flying stab???
Yeh mate just keep it in there and keep turning it 90 degrees each time as it sets, then once its nearly set pull it out and clean the wax off. Some on here may have a better way but I just used a candle and dripped the wax on the shaft. Then I just used a small flame to heat the wax and let it run very thinly over the shaft. Once you have a go you'll see what I mean. Cheer.

RE: How do I tighten up a full flying stab???
Hi Paul, I had the same problem on my Scorpion. What I did was: 1. Cover the stab rod with a thin layer of wax (with a candle) 2. Put epoxy in the hole and smeared it right thru 3. Then put the elevator into the tube and wipe off the excess epoxy that comes out inside 4. I left it for 30 mins as I was using 60 min epoxy then slowly twisted it every 30 mins until the epoxy was hard. 5. I then removed the elevator and cleaned all the wax off and refitted. Took out the majority of the slop on mine and has been fine since. Oh and don't forget to fill the threaded part of the rod with wax!

RE: Please help me diagnose this FEJ pipe.
Pete, heres mine out of my Scorpion. This is a supposedly a quality supplier in France. Its rubbish. You can see the blueing and the wrinkles starting I would throw it in the bin and get FEJ to send a new one for the cheap price. Don't risk your model with these pipes. Or get someone to make one for you. I tried to get Tam to do one for me but he's obviously very busy as I haven't heard back as yet. Your choice either way but just look at Andys predicament to see why we are erring on the cautious side!

Pusher props
Hi guys, I have a Keecat 65 that has a ST75 on board with a 12 x 6 3 blade pusher prop. Screams its head of and hardly goes anywhere. I have looked high and low for a different prop. Does anyone know where I can get a 3 blade around the 11 x 8 or 11 x 9 pusher? Thanks.

RE: *Help me locate stolen jet!*Seeking buyer of AD F-16/p-120 in May from Orlando, FL hobby shop
Just FYI, there was a F16 listed on alibaba a few weeks ago with a 120 in it. It was in Indonesia. I asked them why so cheap (I think is was $2000US) they said it was because the seller needed the cash quick. Dodgy.

Guys, can you just confirm that the taxi tank plugs into the breather on the aircraft and just removed before flight? I have never used one of these before. Could some draw up a simple diagram to show how they work? Thanks.
