if it it goes like other NFP 501 orgs i have seen fold: everything that can be gets liquidated. all outstanding debts are settled. then it all gets donated to some other NFP or multiple NFPs. nothing goes to any member or officer. past what salaries my be due and payable.

coming back would imply that they have been here the first time already. don't think that is so, yet. emailed press release isn't the same as visiting the forum.

if it gets my HO out of the liability loop for modeling stuff, then it is a good thing. don't want increased rates for my home coming from a parked car in wrong place airplane strike claim.

RE: Why the AMA is not growing...........
the challenge of building something with yer own hands, and then having to make it fly for that first time. the satisfaction of success, or the true agony of defeat. all resting on your abilities. what more to life is there? that is what the later generations are missing, and probably why they come, and go.

RE: Please help me put this myth to bed
i think it refers to using a Y connection with both an analogue and a digital connected. for some time, heli guys have used digital servos for flight controls, and a fast analogue on throttle.

RE: Aeromodeling Tiers, OK cause voluntary?
no bill, no new office, but quite possibly, a re thinking of the alt limit, once the widespread severity of the need for waivers is recognized. or, possibly a new class of "standing waiver" for a given set of lat/lon coordinates, renewable yearly. stop being so negative all the time, there is almost always a way to work the bureaucracy for what ya want, if ya just try.
