RE: Nova Rossi/Rex R21B/1
I bought one that I have yet to break in so I can't speak to the reliability. However, it is a low end engine. I'm going to run an 086 pipe to give it a little top end.

RE: R/C center for Land and Air Idea.
I posted a similar question a few days ago on this board and the 1/8 scale buggy board. Look for "Air and Land - same Location? "

Land and Air R/C - Same Location?
Does anyone know of any R/C parks where there are air and land vehicles together? We have an air club nearby that is on city property and I was thinking of pursuing adding a track. *IF* the city would go for it. Do you guys think this would work? Are there any Major concerns? Thanks for any input.

RE: Official Mayhem Thread
It pulls out. There is more power with the 9mm. It just takes some practice to control the throttle.

RE: Mayhem clutch shoes?
While you're taking stuff apart, you may want to consider going to a 13 or 12 tooth clutch bell for more bottom end. You should have a 14 tooth on there right now.

RE: Well I did it,Im a Mayhem owner
You may want to change to a 12 or 13 tooth clutch bell and possibly a new pipe if you want low end. These engines are not known for low end. Before you get finished with your first gallon, you need to take the clutch bell off and check your clutch and bearings. I haven't heard many, if any, makiing it through the first gallon.

How many gallons can I expect to get out of my .26 on my Mayhem RTR? Has anyone had theirs long enough to find out?

RE: Mayhem Pro vs RTR?
From scrapheep:
RTR has the typical grease in the diffs.
The RTR has 5-5-1 fluid like the pro. The pro has thicker shock towers. However, the RTR towers are pretty dang good.

RE: offroad track in the Huntsville, AL area???
Go to this link and look for "off road racing in Cullman, alabama". There is a thread just for that track. I race at a track in Wilsonville. Look for a link for Shelby County started by Joe Horton. That's my local track. [link]http://techtalk.teamtrinity.com/tt/forumdisplay.php?f=15&page=2&sort=lastpost&order=&pp=25&daysprune=30[/link]

I haven't run that body or those wheels yet and I sprayed the suspension down with WD40. [:D] There are guys at our track that clean theirs up and make it look brand new after every race. I don't know how they do it.

RE: mayhem rtr won't start
Use your idle stop screw on the carb(under the high speed needle) or adjust the throttle trim on the transmitter.

RE: Anybody ever have Problems with JR Z650M High Torque MG servo?
I'm using one in Mayhem buggy. It's been great. I did break the case where it mounts to the servo bracket. It's a lay down servo design so that may have had something to do with it.

RE: mayhem rtr won't start
One more thing. This may sound stupid. But, check your starter and make sure the wand is turning. A buddy of mine stripped his starter gear out(its plastic) on his first tank due to a tight engine. They make a metal gear replacement. The starter motor will turn and the wand will not thus not turning over your engine.

RE: mayhem rtr won't start
Unplug the pressure line at the pipe and the fuel line at the carb and blow through the pressure line. Be careful when the fuel comes out of the line though. Also, make sure the lid on fuel tank is sealing good. There is a screw in the center of the lid that can be used to adjust the fit.

RE: mayhem rtr won't start
I say play with needles until you can get it to run. I helped a buddy break his in and we had to lean it out(low and high) to get it to run. As long as you watch your temps during break in, I would think you would be fine even if it is leaner than factory.

RE: Official Mayhem Thread
Giles or anyone else, What diff fluids are you running with your large carb intake. I changed to the large intake yesterday and I believe I may have too much power going to the rear. I'm running 5-7-1. Of course, it sounds like I need to check the front and rear anyway. I've never had them open.

MAYHEM RTR Buggy!!!!! On Ebay you can get out-the-door for under $450. However Foxy42 is correct. You'll need another $200 for supplies if you have not been in nitro before.

RE: JR R135 RX Voltage
On a stock setup, if you plug the battery directly into the RX then what is the on/off switch hooked into that would make it work? The power supply needs to pass through the switch for the switch to work. Anyway, after buying a few adapters, I now have my battery and transponder sharing the aux slot and going through the on/off switch.

RE: JR R135 RX Voltage
livethemoment, Don't forget that if you do so, you are bypassing the on/off switch. I may have it figured out but I'm going to end up with a RX box full of wires! This is a pain in the butt. I'm not sure why JR does this.
