RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet
I use a kingtech k80f.Just maidened last weekend.Dry weight is about 11 kg.In my opinion ,This spec. is nice for a beginner. If you used to fly with fast sport plane before, you feels it's a little bit slow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2Sta-PugtA&feature=player_detailpage http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=VHUBZrSF3hY

RE: Fitting a 1/8
Its tricky, but can you drill the shaft and tap it for a 1/8 screw,loc-tite it in and install your hub? either that or just use 3/16 all the way around. at least with a 3/16 shaft and prop assembly it will resist bending a little contact with the bottom or weeds getting tangled.

RE: Jetlegend T-45 Hawk
Hi! I am a rookie guy in jet R/C.Last week ,I made a maiden - flight of T-45 JL by using many references in this forum. These are my videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guRQQ2SKErM&feature=player_detailpage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ONVQAv0m8Q&feature=player_detailpage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK8VxPiN1FY&feature=player_detailpage My Spec. is Engine:Jetcat P80 SE Ail: HS-5245MG Rud: HS-5245MG Flaps: Align 610 Elev: 2 X HS-7955TG From many comment about CG that recommended for 140 mm,but as you saw in the video it was "heavy-nose".So, I decided to change the CG to 125 mm. Now she fly like a train on the rail.

RE: Lobster boat, need some help. scratch built
Watch the cable universal in reverse if so equiped..they often only spin one way..the other way they turn into expanded steel wire..Its know as a "bird cage" in the cable industry Im my stuffing tubes I use white grease. dosent go hard,or turn into an emulsion when the water gets around it. I use one of these to load them. [image]http://www.cnspowertools.co.uk/350x350/grease-gun.jpg][/image] and a better alterative. RE: 85 ft Harbor Tug/Angels Gate
Thats a very nice unit! Very nice indeed.. Im planning a 50-55ish model myself from scratch, I chose to use a 90mm prop/3blade,on a M5 shaft, running a 600Kv(800+ watt) outrunner,on a 12v system.. Im still enlarging my prints, and getting them assembled.

RE: Dumas Mr Darby - continue or sell/trade?
An original Dumas Darby with the originally supplied running gear is worth more that $1000..However ..fetching that price or better is another story. I own a Darby myself ..If you didnt get the pittman motors ..You well have to source them out or get decent brushless replacements, possibly a gear/belt reduction gear. The 3.5 in 4 feather screws put out alot of thrust. She can haul both my kids around a pond no problem . For power I use a 12v Lawn tractor battery and still have another 40lbs of lead ballast. Mine has the pittman motors 3:1 with twin Mtroniks ESC 20A,using V-tail mixing..I dont have a bow thruster. Theres lots to consider...Keep us posted.

Need help with USB cable
I received a replacement USB cable. The old one went completely south. I now have two problems. First, I get the error message indicating that the transmitter cannot be found. The second error message I get is that Add-on 3 needs to be activated. When I try to activate online, I get notification that the code is already used. I have Aerofly Pro Deluxe v1.11.07.21. My PC is running Vista Ultimate. I am using an old JR XF421ex transmitter without the TX module. I have used this Tx before with APD. Here is a pic of my USB cable. Any advice would be appreciated.

If I get time, Ill take the Cb off, to show you guys how its set-up. the only problem was that it needed 5 of these - http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0095P?FVSEARCH=z699&search=Go - to keep the flywheel far enough forwards, so that when you put the pilot shaf on, it doesn't stop loose. ie, the pilot nut wouldn't do up enough, and I was scared of cutting the crank (Im only 14!)
