RE: ESM Planes - RIPOFF!
I purchased 2 ESM planes from Troy about 2 years ago. Very disappointed in the quality. More Disappointed with TBM support/service. Basically crap. My BAD, no more ESM or TBM for me. Maybe someone else might be ridding the fence, this may help. john

RE: Boxer 120
Gus Ozolls (sp) was the designer of the Boxer series. Sadly he passed away 15 years ago. I beleive at one time Rick Allison was reproducing them. But if Doug wants to part with reasonably to you I would go that way. Consider making copies for future people. I was fond of Gus and enjoyed his presence. He was brilliant and pragmatic. Pix did not make it with first attempt. My attempt to "aling the hinge line" 0.047" music wire. Make a little drill bit out of it as well. Have to open up the holes some . . Little tools are made from perma-grit. Invaluable for thid job. john

RE: Gibbs Ziroli 94
I have a p-40 same as the post. An "E" version I believe. I bought it built by a master builder named Brad. He told me what a pain it was to do the fillets. I mean a real pain. I really admire the building skills on here and wsh I had them. You could PM me and I can put you in touch with him. john

RE: need help with plane identification
If that is indeed an exactude; I thought it was at first, but the colors don't seem to match what I remember. Anyway Exactude was 1 batch only bt AirWild in O.C. Initally the weight was a little high to meet the 11 lb. FAI / AMA . Some were sold. Never mass produced. Regards,

More Photo's. I used OS 81's and added extensions to get the mufflers outside of cowel without hacking big holes in it. I used 91 surpass mufflers as the stock mufflers that came with the OS 81a's, would not fit to my liking.

12FGA with twins
Greetings: I just purchased a 12 FGA and I want to use it on a TF B-25. What is the best way to link~group 2 throtle servo's to 1 stick? Can I have 1 master trim for both "T3" and have "T5" for the right engine and "T6" for the left engine? Can I have a way to run-up 1 engine at a time while both running? If the above can be done this might be a good selling feature. I am sure others are interested. Regards, john

RE: Cermark Ultimate
I would like to answer some of the questions. Thx for the kind words. Got a chance to fly. WAY nose heavy. put bat all way back and still a little nose heavy. The plane flies "HEAVY". It flies in wind when foamys can't, but don't get it to slow. . . or else Looks better in person than pix. flies kinda' fast for a small field. holds a line good for a little plane, forget the 3d throws, snaps to easy with a lot of elev. Rudd is VERY effective, the scale Ultimate does not have counter balance, this does, watch rudder throw. A lot of people like the looks , it seems VERY STURDY, good quality, over engineered and a little heavy for wing area. I will work with it more, My setup HS 65HB x 4 SERVO'S PHX 25 controller APC 10x5 E Park Flier Radio Spectrum Cellpro 2100 3S1P Li-po Extreme Flight 2830/1095 Torque Outrunner Motor [ LOTSA POWER]

RE: Cermark Ultimate
More Pix. The build is straight forward. I made some changes: Top wing -3.5 deg neg if I glued cabaine in stock pos. I set it to -1.25 to -1.5 deg neg. put bigger wheels 2" painted spinner , gear and inner-planer struts orange, missed the shade went to bigger motor than cermark recomend. no instructions on bat. mounting; my method 2-56 screws~blind nut in front.
