RE: Super Tigre .90 Flying Weight..
I can't as my tach got destroyed by the lawnmower.[:@] Had the engine on my Mojo which weighed 6.75 or so wet and it had unlimited vertical. This was running 0% fuel also. Put a Saito 100 on it and and with the same prop, vertical is about the same. The Saito has instant throttle response when running 33%, (not the best with 0%). Way better for 3D work. A Xoar 15x6 is recommended for the 100, and might work good on the .90. Spool up would probaly be better also being as it's lighter.

Zenoah G29?
Was looking at car mag last night and seen an ad for a Zenoah 29cc engine. Went to Horizon's site and seen it listed. No airplane version. Wonder if they have any plans to do one up for airplane use. Most of the new electronic ignition versions are out of stock. Looks like it was a smart move to finally update this engine line.

ZDZ 40 is the engine you need. Rear carb and I believe you can still get the rear exhaust version. Should have no problem spinning your 3 blade prop.

The track I was at Saturday with my two kids cost me 10 bucks apiece to practice. Don't know if that got us into the races or not. We're not into to racing, so I didn't ask. Track opened at nine and races started at three.

The safe is the way to go. Twenty bucks is worth the piece of mind that my house or car won't burn down. If that safe can keep fire out, it will keep fire in as well. Not to mention it protects the packs when transporting them.

This is what I use to store my LiPo batts. Holds quite a few. [link=http://www.sentrysafe.com/Products/1/1100_Fire_Chest#panel-1]Sentry® Safe 1100 Fire Chest[/link] Take all the batts to and from the field in this thing. I believe it was under 20 bucks on sale at Farm and Fleet.

ZDZ 90. Plenty of power and smoother than the DA. If you don't like TBM, AMR in Canada is a distributor.

I can't believe you guys are using CA hinges on gassers. I've had them break on .40 size glow planes, different brand hinges no less. Gave up on them years ago. I got tired of having to replace them. Went to Robarts and haven't had a hinge failure since. Sorry for your loss, sucks losing a plane, but really sucks when it's one you really like.[:@]

Didn't say I believed them Pe, just what they claimed. As far as coating on the sides of the pistons go, in the automotive world the coatings I've seen go from the botttom of the oil ring to the bottom of the skirt.
