RE: Losi starter box, not turning my new v-spec motor on 8T 2.0
I tried with the ofna box this morning, used a heat gun once again, and now the motor spins and spins but the minute a give it gas it dies. I'm not sure whats going on at this point. I had my share of motors and none were this tough.

RE: Losi starter box, not turning my new v-spec motor on 8T 2.0
I did buy a heat gun, but even that didn't work. The one time I got to engine to start, it died within 3 seconds. I richend the high speed need a little, but never got the engine to turn again.

RE: NEW Jammin x2 rtr
NEWKID I go to pegasus hobbies in upland, Griffith Park, and Whittier Park. I only have a tmaxx 3.3 and savage xl so I really don't do any racing. I just run my savage at pegasus but never race. However I think I'm ready for a truggy, I want to race but I aslo enjoy bashing my trucks. I don't know of any other tracks in the los angeles area. (downtown LA.)

RE: savage vs t-maxx vs mgt
It can win, but you do need a good amount of money to race. Better motor, radio, shocks atleast. Frankly I used monster trucks for hard bashing and my truggy for racing..

RE: savage vs t-maxx vs mgt
get a tmaxx. I have a Tmaxx 4908 and a savage xl and the savage breaks more than my tmaxx. And parts for a tmaxx you can get everywhere. Trust me the new tmaxx is durable. Listen to people who actually have experience with both or own both.

RE: Savage xl conversion question's
I'm sorry to say this but my 5.9 motor has been nothing but problems. I recently had it replaced because their was a hole under the motor after only 10 tanks. Thank god, HPI replaced my motor. [:o] The people at the hobby shop told me that a lot of people have been having this problem. "Engine has to much torque."
