RE: H9-F6F Hellcat 60 ARF
CRG I wasn't paying enough attention to the arf manual...forgot to include the joiner wire first...snafu..I also did not recess the hinge center into the control service..don't want to pull them off again sooo guess I can place some tape on each side to help tighten the gap.

RE: H9-F6F Hellcat 60 ARF
I just finished sawing off my ca glued elevators and re-attached them with dubro hinged pins. Its the first time doing this. The elevators work fine..all the hinges are swinging good and are tight...however the gaps are +- 1/8 inch along the control surfaces. Is the gap to big..if so whats the right way to close it. Thanks for your advice. MrSand.

RE: gluing pinned hinges
Thanks for the advice .... I will fit each hinge in the elevator slot...fill the lateral voids with thin balsa...vaseline the pin....scar the hinge face...epoxy it in...let it dry..then fit it to the stab next day...I have already prefitted both sides and marked the control surface for alignment. Once again thanks for the help. Mr.Sand

RE: H9-F6F Hellcat 60 ARF
ok thanks, I'm sure you fellows know more than me.... The tank is a little higher than the carb since I inverted the saito. If I keep it to two lines how do I keep the system from flooding when I fill. Sorry for my ignorance MrSand

RE: H9-F6F Hellcat 60 ARF
I have a fuel system question. I have mounted a Saito 100 with the valve covers down and left at +- 45 degrees. What tank/fuel line setup is recommended...one person says a three line...others a two line setup. I have a dubro fuel valve I was considering using. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks. MrSand

RE: hangar 9 hellcat 60-fueling system
thanks for the advise fellow rc pilots I appreciate it....is there any reason why a T crossover and a fuel dot won't work properly? What happens when the tank is being filled..is there a chance the engine floods? I assume a setup locates the fuel dot about tank C/L or slightly higher on the cowel...is that about right? MrSand

RE: H9-F6F Hellcat 60 ARF
Ok, Thanks Wulf I appreciate your help. I googled fuel dots/valves an there is all sorts of interesting gagets. But a third line off the main tank to a fixed position on the fuse seems the most cost efficient MrSand

engine mounting TTPro40
I'm finishing up another SRII and with the pinched cheeks the back plate for the spinner hits the cowl edge. The directions show the engine mounting 109 mm forward of the firewall! Is the measurement to the outer side of the drive hub or to the outside of the spun on prop retainer and nut? any help is appreciated. Mr.Sand
