RE: New gas mono shopping
Looks really good Ron, I am sorry to say that at the Mississippi race this weekend my Rampage got hit in the rear while tuning in open water. Took off the rear top right corner, all cosmetic but i hate to have this much damage as the first scratch. Give me a week and it will be back to new. My R42 hade sum damage too and i lost the cowl! LOL! We had a great weekend though, my boats ran really smooth and fast but, little dumb mistaks by me, did me in. Denny, got 1st in SS mono, 1st Hydro, 1st mono. Carlo got 1st in GX mono, 1st cat, and i think 1st in GX cat. All monos Rampage and Hydro was a Rage Hydro, its the Hydro Mike was working on before he passed. It was the first time Denny ran in a Hydro race and probably the 4th time he has had the boat in the water. Good weekend for CC Racing and Rampage boats!

RE: VooDoo Mardi Gras Madness Race March 5th and 6th
the SGRC is no longer together as a club, i was a member there a couple years ago we lost our pond. The Voodoo pond is about 45min to 1 hr away from there in Reserve, La its closer to Baton Rouge. We always have a great time at Voodoo, we also throw one of the best parties!! Ask Anyone who has attended a race here!

RE: New gas mono shopping
thx Ron but, i got some decals they are silver and look darker at different angles. I like the strut you have better, thats the older one they are easier to adjust. If you want the best prop we have ever tested on the Rampage PM me on Jim's and i will give you the #'s on it, its one of brent's. The 6717/3 425 and 430 are really good props on this boat but, the one we have from Brent is a cut about them and he is the only one that makes this prop!

How so Very True, Ron! Sometimes i see boats run and i ask myself "how in the heck is that boat running that good" and other times i say "what in the heck is wrong with that thing"
ORIGINAL: Ron Olson True, it's not just the boat but it takes someone who can set one up properly. There are a few guys who could make a cement block haul and others who can take the best hull and engine and make it look bad.
RE: Conquest with a 520 in it.
Wow! This would make an awesome open offshore boat! Plenty of power to pull out of the turns. Nice job Daniel.

RE: New gas mono shopping
Just as Carlo said, it runs kinda loose in the straights and it carves the turns like no other mono i have seen. Its very fast in the straights and loose, this makes for some very fun racing. The new one i ordered in the not normal colors(royal blue top and dark grey bottom) will be here prob next week, its being laid up now. When i receive it i will post some pics. You can pretty much get any color you want(kawasaki green, royal blue, grey, dark grey, pink, pepto pink, mustard yellow, yellow, deep red, black, powder blue, money green, white, etc. you name the color and we can probably build it, that color.

RE: New gas mono shopping
Rampage Baby! All the way, we are working on a hatch for the Rampage rt now. Just trying to get the lines rt with the angles of the windshield. It won't be rounded in the front it will follow the lines of the present windshield. Carlo will deff help you out, also if you want a specific color different than the norm, plz inquire about it. As you might have seen Rampage has put out a couple new boats with out of the norm colors like All Pink, black and lime green, and i have a new one coming thats Royal Blue top, Dark Grey bottom. All Carbon fiber or Half and Half is available too!. Hope this helps ya Ron, look forward to seeing another winning Rampage in the water soon!!!

3.3 engine tuning problems!
I have been having some problems leaning out the 3.3, i am not new to nitro engines but, i am newer to car engines mostly boats. I have the 3.3 about 4 turns out in my jato. For me i think that is alot, when i try to make any change to it by leaning it out more, it wants to bogg down or cut out at full throttle???? The engine is fairly new, with about 1/2 a gallon of 20% ran through it. In my boat motors i can lean them out to 1 1/2 to 2 turns out with no problem. So my question is?? is this normal or am i doing something wrong?? It seems like the stock air filter is kinda restrictive, if u take it and try to blow through it, you bearly can. Could this be the problem, idk its just a thought??? thx
