lipo
i was charginh my lipo today and i knowtice that my charger said 4.2v per cell or something close to that .. i aborted the charge and was wondering if its bad for the lipo to be that high in voltage while charging ... the battery wasent hot or even really that warm for that matter

RE: Is this right??
if its 7.4v it should only be a 3.7v per cell actually any lipo should only be 3.7v per cell

i could suggest one of those portable car battery chargers/jump box.. if its got enought juice to charge a car battery it should have plenty enough to get you through 6 cycles

corrosion is your answer then he probly ran it wet and over time built up corrosion brush it off and you should be fine you could even spray battery proctor on it to prevent that in the future

it is most likely white lithem grease.. its a hi temp grease and they tend to use it alot on electric motors ... ive opened up my fair share of electric motors ranging from fans to controller vib motors they all seem to have this grease in it

RE: need response like now
yea i also run traxxas waterproof servos in all my trucks regardless of the receiver.. and it would be nice if they would make them compatable with each other but im sure they code the boards so that they only work with that brand ... if they were all compatable alot of the compianies would go out of buisness due to people buying one kind of recive and another transmitter.. considering the transmitter seems to be where they make their money

RE: The most annoying sayings
what i dont get is why you all get annoyed with the how fast how high and how much questions.... i could maybe understand if its repetitive but if you would answer their question maybe you could add another RCer to the mix.. some people just would like to know.. its human curiosity...and when u make smat remarks it makes us RCes look like ass holes ... so in reality when u ignore or even make smart comments at these questions instead of answering them.. your killing this hobby.... the way i see it is inform them as much as possible ... then if they still ask stupid questions.. just direct them to you lhs and make them deal with the stupid questions lol

if you have a 12 adapter that plugs into your cigarette lighter port you could simply use that.. or just pop your hood and use your car battery... or lol get a dc power converter . you could get one to meet your need for probly about 15 to 20$

[/quote] im not shure why it says 2 channel beacuse the pictures clearly show a 3 channel transmitter.... the reciver is a 5 channel reciver ... and i have the same one so ya... but im just using it till my gt3b gets here wich is when ever hobby partz gets it back in stock
