Radio Issues
New to the HL tanks.. We bought 2 Bulldogs (SnS) Tiger (SnS) Stdgpanther (SnS) and a panzer4, Kv1, and SnowLeopard all 3 without SnS. our problem is the Tiger and Stdg both interrupt the radios of the non SnS tanks . the KV1 only responds on the "B" channel even with no other radios active around it. . Ive found the crystal on the controller but cant find it on the main motherboard. Is there any tricks or tips to change the radio settings to be able to feild all 7 tanks? All the tanks were bought from Raidentech and we had one replaced but it was a huge hassel so i'm thinking returning the nonSnS tanks is not an option. any help is greatly appreciated.

RE: aftershock 8e
I wasnt very happy with mine when I first got it. broke the steering arm and the turn buckles. but after getting the aluminum replacements this thing has been fantastic. were running at an indoor carpet track with the carpet flipped over. the impacts are pretty tough cause its right on concrete and so far only a steering arm ball has broken. the thing is flat fast. Id like to know how to make a harness to allow for 1 battery. PM me if you can pls.

Im just getting into the racing aspect of this hobby. Ill have to check out the hurricane . thanks. Got the backdraft put back together. the diff case was only $6 , cant realy complain about that. kinda scared to run it noiw though. might park it for a bit till the weather warms up. maybe the plastic wont be so brittle.

RE: RE:
I just bought the Backdraft with the 2.4gz radio. not very impressed . The thing breaks just thinking about being driven. Ive run it 3 times this week for a total of 9 mins. on 3 seperate occasions Ive had to replace the steering linkage, servo-saver arm kit ( used an aluminum kit for another car that was close) both front turnbuckles, shock body, and now the front diff case where the A-arm connects is broken and i dont know if i can even get a replacement part for that. such a shame too. the car realy has sooo much potential but there plastic is just garbage, I bought the aluminum upgrades where available but that is making the car very expensive. does it get any better? I was realy hoping to run this car in the 1/8 buggy premier class here in reno but I dont think it will handle a full race. help please. anything I can do to make this thing usable?

RE: redcat aftershock 8E ???
I just got a backdraft with the 2.4gz radio. WHAT A PILE OF JUNK!! Ive yet to run a battery through it. so far the steering linkage arm broke, both front turnmbuckles, the steering arm opposite the servo-saver and just yesterday the front A-arm stuck up landing off a small jump a stock slash is able to clear and broke the diff case where the A-arm mounts. Ive spent over $150 on upgraded aluminum parts and have yet to even run a full battery through the thing. Im not out bashing it , running into curbs or taking it to the skatepark. just on our local racetrack. I agree with the poster above Eggshell parts would be an upgrade. the bad thing is they have so much potential. Out of the box thay have a real nice motor and ESC , 2 Lipos, 2.4gz radio, they handle well for bone stock and are very stable. just dont drop the thing off anything taller then 3" or the front end will come apart.
