Rolling Chassie
Hi all, I have a g23lh engine with a 27cc bbk, 14mm walbro carb, helimuffler and a rocket key. I want to put this engine onto a rolling chassie but im not sure where to look for one and what one would be the best for my needs. I want a half decent touring car with a low price range. It has to be a suitable for a noob with little knoledge about these cars but with a lot of knowledge with the smaller 1/10th cars. Could anyone give me some ideas on what to look for and where to look for it? Thanks a bunch for your help [sm=wink.gif]

RE: eblown engines?
Does it have compression? Can you pull the pull start? Does it start? If no to any of these questions then most probably your engine is bust.

RE: Exhaust spitting petrol
That "fuel" coming out of your exaust is oil from your fuel. Leave it as it is. You should always have oil spitting out of your exhaust other wise you will be running your car to lean. And too lean means a busted engine :)

RE: NTC3 Is It Loud?
"!!All nitro cars are loud, theres no way around it, just have fun and don't worry about the noise!!!" No actually your wrong. You can buy silencers for your car if your willing to sacrifice a little bit of power. Also i think maybe your going a little over the top when you say you could easily hear it form inside a house from the street. Maybe if you didn't have double glazing you might be able to just about hear it but the people most likely to moan are old people who are deaf anyway.

RE: what car
A R40 is designed for racing, you wouldnt be able to use it anywhere else apart from a prepared race track with out damaging the car. Also the car is made for experts not people new to nitro touring. I would recommend the ntc3 rtr as as the ntc3 is one of the best cars you can buy.

RE: hellp sorry for posting againn
.... Its sounds like your engine is in a position where the second gear on the clutch bell isnt touching the second gear on the car. )or isnt touching it anoth). This means that when you give the car light throttle the car will stay in gear one, but when u give it full throttel your shearing the second gear so its only moving a little. Try setting the engine again and see if it solves the problem.

RE: Is this compatable?
RcSuCkA If it does actualy fit (which i doubt) there would be alot of problems with it. You would find your self with air leaks and tuning problems. Like sixtoes1313 why not just try it? You will never learn if you dont experiement.

RE: MY SERVOS DO WHAT EVER THEY WANT
Check all the wires on your car and check for damaged wires with out the insulation around it. If you find one wrap it in insulaion tape. I had the same problem with you becuase the battery pack wires had been dmaged and was touching the metal chassis causing all the servo's to glitch.

RE: realy hard to turn the flywheel......
A new engine should be hard to push when the piston is at the top. It will be rubbing against the piston liner alot so that when your running your engine for the 1st few tanks it will wear away the excess material on the piston liner (which is making it hard to spin the flywheel) so that there is a better air seal between the piston and piston liner. Also try loosening your glow plug a little bit so there is less compression and then try to start up the engine. When the engine is running tighten the glowplug up again. Hope this helps.

Dkd he just said that the engine still ahd compression and to know that the flywheel would be able to move so he can see if there is any compression or not.
