RE: FIberglass Mold How to Tutorial
Hi! Thanks for your response. However I am more interested in specifically the reaction (if any) of Floral foam found at Michaels, or other craft stores, and polyester resin applied directly to the foam. I am thinking of making a general shape with the foam and laying glass over it just like DocJones did here, but I'm not sure if he used some sort of coating or if it was a different type of foam. Thanks.

RE: FIberglass Mold How to Tutorial
Okay so I'm a bit confused. I have read a few forums about floral foam and the effect polyester resin has on it. Some say polyester will eat the foam others say that it won't. Just as a quick reference, what is your guys' experience with the dry floral foam and polyester resin/bondo - autobody filler applied directly onto it. Thanks. Newbiepilot.

AVCS Gryo set up Walkera 36
Hi, When I was trying to set up my heli tail rotor I noticed a something weird. I turned the gyro to Nor on the AVCS-NOR switch, and turn everything on. I trimmed up my tail rotor to be in the middle of the shaft. I moved the stick left and right, and the tail rotor returned to position well. When I turned the avcs on while everything was still on, the servo pulled the rotor in or out I can't remember, really quickly. I tried centering again, but the servo seems to always creep to one side or the other and doesn't like to stay in one spot. Can you tell me if this is what is supposed to happen, or if it is something that I need to fix. The gyro is WK-G006. Thank you.

RE: Disconnecting ball links
Can you use normal pliers, and just pop them off. Or is it likely that they will get wrecked without using ball link pliers? Thanks.

Disconnecting ball links
Hi, I was wondering what the best method to remove ball links is, without wrecking your links and having to buy new ones. I know you can get a certain type of plyers, but are there any other ways to do this without ruining anything? Thank you.

RE: Beginner chopper
Okay, it is bent. I will order a new one. I figured this one out. I have another question. How do you adjust the tail servo. It seems to crawl it's way one way or the other after trimming. It just doesn't seem to stay put in the middle. It's either one way totally or the other when the control is centered. Even if I adjust the trim. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Sanghera Okay, I took it out for a test flight. And I crashed and hit the main rotor on the ground. I looked at it after and noticed that the upright bar is tilted a bit. I'm not sure if this is meant to be on an angle on purpose, or if I bent the bar when my heli hit. I have some pics.

When I say load, I mean how much can you lift with it, while still flying safely. Can you lift say a small camera? or even a heavier camera? Thanks.

RE: learning to fly
I was trying it in the simulator and wasn't sure if this is how it really is. I just figured by trial and error how to slow down. So I kind of know that now. How do you turn properly. Say for a right turn. Do you bank right, move the tail left, and pull up all at the same time? Or do you simply swing the tail around and lean forward? I know the terms aren't right but I think you know what I mean. Thanks.

learning to fly
How do you slow down the helicopter? Do you pull up and decrease the pitch at the same time? What are some good places to learn the proper way to turn and slow down and speed up and hover. I know you can learn this on a simulator but you don't learn the proper way to do it. Thanks.

RE: Beginner chopper
I went for the 36 and it actually didn't cost me much more than a 22. I think that the belt driven system will work much better, and it is more upgradeable and a lot of people have used it. It sounds like it will be good, the only thing is is how I'm going to practice with a simulator. Right now I am using FMS with a keyboard. Is that kind of realistic to real flying? I know you don't get proportional control with the keyboard, but for now I am learning the basics. Sanghera

did the blades fly off near any body? that is really dangerous, do these kind of thing like blades flying off happen a lot with these 22E's or cheaper priced heli's? My other question is what is the max servo size that you can use with the tx and rx supplied with the 22E? Are the electronics reliable or do they burn out a lot on the 22e? Thank you.

RE: 22E Flight Simulator
So FMS is the free one. How well does this work? Is it close to real flying? How much did all the parts cost, and where did you get them for the cable? I might be able to get the parts from the same place you did. Can you use the supplied cable with FMS or is that why you had to build one? The ebay seller said he could supply the cable. Thank you.
