RE: Does anyone know what this is?
As stated it is a Heli-Max 400. I have one and did the same upgrades with Trex stuff. I would stay away from it. Parts are hard to come-by and they are expensive.

RE: 10C flight conditions
Can the flaps be slowed down?

10C flight conditions
I'm trying to decide on either buying the 10C or the JR X9303 for my next radio. I currently have the 9CAP with the 8 channel model. The one thing that I have always wanted to do is have the flaps deployed, but have control of the speed of the deployment. I figured the 10C would do this, but after looking over the manual I figure i'm pretty much stuck with the same ole' 9CAP limitations. I like the fact that the JR X9303 has flight conditions where I can flip one switch and have the flaps deloy slow, lower the gear, and have D/R deployed all at the same time. Am I missing something on the 10C or do I have to upgrade to the 12 or 14 channel models? thanks for your input.

RE: 2.4GHz known issues, ALL manufactures
I've been using the Futaba 9CAP with the conversion module with 3 airplanes and 2 .50 size helicopters. I have not had one problem to date. I use mostly the 7 channel module and I have one 8 channel module. again, no problems what-so-ever.

RE: 1/4 Scale Sukhoi SU-26 Ailerons
That's the exact plane I was looking at. It mimics the full size aircraft. I guess since the model does not have the same suface area one must compensate for that by double bevels?

Scale Pocket Hinges
Does anyone know how to make pocket hinges for scale type control surfaces?

1/4 Scale Sukhoi SU-26 Ailerons
I am getting ready to build a scratch 1/4 scale SU-26 72" wingspan. My question is this. I always see our airplanes with the control surfaces with 45 degree beveled edges. Why is this? It's easy and works? Why do we not see actual scale hinges where the pivot point is back and the control surface is rounded? If I were to build my ailerons like the real thing would my model fly any different the beveled edges?[:)]

Does anyone know what happened to RC Styx? The website to order the controller knobs doesn't exist anymore! Does anyone know where I can find a set of the thumb knobs? Thanks>

RE: Mods Questions for SIG Kadet Seniorita
Great. Thank you for the information that you have provided. Here are some pics of the wing I am building. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/newtek007/SIG%20Kadet%20Seniorita/img_5713_std.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/newtek007/SIG%20Kadet%20Seniorita/img_5712_std.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/newtek007/SIG%20Kadet%20Seniorita/img_5710_std.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/newtek007/SIG%20Kadet%20Seniorita/img_5709_std.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/newtek007/SIG%20Kadet%20Seniorita/img_5708_std.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/newtek007/SIG%20Kadet%20Seniorita/img_5707_std.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/newtek007/SIG%20Kadet%20Seniorita/img_5706_std.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/newtek007/SIG%20Kadet%20Seniorita/img_5704_std.jpg I'm curious... What made you like the SIG Kadet so much over other models?

RE: Mods Questions for SIG Kadet Seniorita
Gotcha. Now I know. I can definantely see the difference now. So all I am really going to do is make the airplane a little faster and fly better inverted. Do you think I will have any problems using the wing tip of the Decathalon? http://www.geocities.com/krcm_home/2003_imaa/2003_imaa_jim_thompson_decathalon.jpg

RE: Mods Questions for SIG Kadet Seniorita
Man. Awesome info on the Kadet. I did a Google on it and I didn't find any of these sites. I guess I do not know what a true Flat Bottom airfoil is? The airfoil that I am using is at 0 degrees and has more curvature on the bottom than the stock. Also, I would like to use wing tips like that found on the Super Decathalons. Any thoughts? Thanks for your time by answering my questions. Your planes are awesome looking.

RE: Mods Questions for SIG Kadet Seniorita
Even with the new Semi-symetrical airfoil? Is it going to tip stall?

Mods Questions for SIG Kadet Seniorita
I fly the SIG Kadet Seniorita. I love this airplane and have started tinkering with it. I am in the process of building a totally new wing that is semi-semmetrical and I am wondering if I should add some washout to the tips? There is no washout on the original wing. The new wing has the Ritz 2-30-13 airfoil with flaps and ailerons. I am ready to sheet the first wing, but I am going to wait until I get some advice from you guys about the washout. Thanks. [8D]
