Hello I saw that (www.SapacAmerica.com) sell it for $1,800.00. That must be a good price for a plane that encludes all the servo horns, rod ends etc, dont you think? Go you have the electric verson? If not, do you know the differens between them? Finally, estimated final weight? Regards Roland

2,4 mhz and ignition??
Hello Is there any company that have tested the 2,4mhz systems and how they work with YS 170 cdi? It seams to bee alot of questions but no one seams to be sure. Is it safe to use only one 6v cell for both ignition and radio or........? Maybe Spectrum or Futaba has the answer?

RE: YS-170CDI Flight Report
Hello It seams like some have problems with connections when using the CDI installations. I have not flown the CDI yet and have some questions before I dare get it in the air. Wondering of I need to have 2 seperate systems, one for the ignition and one for receiver/servos??? I saw this reciever where I can connect two cells, li-pol or Ni-cd. Is that possible solution for me with Spectrum DSM 2 ?? Thanks in advance http://www.toddsmodels.com/SPMAR9100_AR9100_DSM2_9_Channel_PowerSafe_Receiver_p/spmar9100.htm

Hello Norway I know what you mean by spring time, but we have lots of snow here in North Sweden. Hopefully it will be gone in 3-4 weeks time. And yes, that airplane Avioneta looks nice. Do you guys have any more pictures of it? Me myself are going to fly a Proline with a YS cdi.

RE: Extreme composite Pro-Line
Hello Nicos The final weight on my proline is 4690-4700 grams depending on what cells I use. The weight encludes the cdi box, (about 100 grams) The CG is good, 165 from leading edge of the wing with my setup I placed the "cdi box" behind the firewall and cells in the leading edge of the tank. The trottleservo is the close to engine, (beside the exhaust) 1. Futaba 9154 (Aileron) 2. JR DS 8411 SA (Elev and Rudder) 3. JR NES 321 (Trottle) 4. Cells (2150 mAh, 110 grams LI-ION) Regards Roland

RE: Extreme composite Pro-Line
Hello After looking at your proline I have to find how the bellypan is put together, wonder if I have the nerves to fly it without checking this things out first. Was your engine close to the belly (in the front)? I can see that my engine is very close to the belly and wonder if it can move sidways/forward to actually touch the belly. My proline is new and has not been flown yet. Regards

RE: Extreme composite Pro-Line
Mastertech, I understand that you have bought a second proline. My question is about the moulding. Is there an 1:st verson and a 2:an verson of this airplane? Is the "fog joint" visible where the fuse is glued together? Regards

RE: Extreme composite Pro-Line
Thank you Mastertech I can see that you flown it alot, anything else that you can share? Do you think it will be tail heavy with YS 170 dz with the cdi egnition in the front. "I think the egnition ways the same as a normal 4 cell nicd 1600 mAh battery" How is it in strong wind? Is there many mixing to do before you get it to fly well? Last but not least. Do you know if the "proline evolution" is on the market yet, and where it can be bought? Thank you

RE: Extreme composite Pro-Line
Hi there guys After reading thrue all this messages I have some questions for you guys that flown "proline" some time now. 1: Is the paint still in good condition after using it "around" nitro? 2: Where is the best place for "CG" if you measureing from "the front of the wing" if I use YS 170 dz with 17x12 apc prop? 3: What things should I keep my eyes on when starting building? I dont want to make "new beginners misstakes" 4: Size of fueltank can I use? 5: Spinner size? 5: If I want to use a t-wing, wich one fits best? 6: What engine mount fits best? Thanks in advance
