RE: CX3 Rollover
OK, I got the rollover problem taken care of (swash plate separation),ow I have to find out why its making close circular run without input, and if that aint enough,I was flying my Esky CPV2,I said "just 3 more minutes"..........as I was setting it down it veered to the right, the blade busted the swash plate on my Blade 400...........................lol..........gotta love it............

CX3 Rollover
Yesterday I bought a CX3,took it home, set up the DX6I according to the book, including the set type as AIRPLANE,it would only do 1 of 2 things, either spin wildly to the left, and or roll over on its left side.I got the spin part taken care of,the guy at the LHS knew right away what was wrong,he said that was a common prob with that heli, (gear wasnt tight on the shaft),still the rollover problem,so i found a set of DX6I settings for the CX3 online, these were basicaly the same except they called for setting the model type as HELI,which I did,and still the rollover,at a loss for what to do now. RE: ........... BELT CP V2 Thread..........
As for me,I would preferr the plastic over the CNC,cost effective...................................... as someone mentioned, there has to be a weak point,I think its best that the weak point stay at the feathering, and main shafts, and wood blades, those parts are relativly cheap, and easy to get hold of.

RE: Blade 400 - Best Replacement Servos ?
I disagree, i just received my order of 4 hs-65hb's from Tower Hobby, went ti instal them, and they are NOT drop in,they are 3mm larger, granted, not a big difference when you are talking about blade length, but this is a servo that fits in a hole, opening up the hole that much will also effect the mounting hole too, now, i have to put some thought into wether or not I want to go and grind those hole open more,or just save the 65's for something else and get a drop fit size for the 400...................I dont know whats more expensive, having 2 boats,or having 3 helis...................

RE: CP V2 STOCK gyro Prob.
Thanks, tried it and its still the same thing, movement in 1 direction, and very slight at that,I even plugged another servo into the gyro, and that even has the same amount of movement,Im leaning toward a bad gyro................. Joe

CP V2 STOCK gyro Prob.
Ever since I took the Esky Belt CP V2 out of the box,I hav had problems with the stock gyro (see photo below),it would always spin wildly counterclock wise, and respond very very poorly to stick movements from the stock TX,i read the manual, tried a few things, and still the same problem,ok, I thought maybe it was the stock transmitter,so I found a link at RC Universe where it shows you how to setup the DX6I,for the "Belt CP",didnt say "CP V2",just "CP",which I did useing a AR6100 (NO remote RX),when I hook up the battery,it does the 3 beeps, the gyro light blinks, then the gyro light goes out til I move the throttle stick left or right, now all the servos work better, cept there is veryyyyyyyy little movement from the tail servo,I must have missed something,I dont know what, but I think I did,or is this just a junk gyro?oh,and the servo switch is set to "NOR",DX6I>under GYRO=RATE-0:+66.5%,1:64.0%,SW-F MODE-NORM.0,STUNT-1,under REVERSE=THRO.N,ELEV.N,GYRO.N,AILE.R,RUDD.N,PITCH.N. also-just changed the ESC,and the front servo. Joe pS I just noticed that there is ONLY movement in the gyro from a TO the LEFT stick, the light comes on with the input, but nadda with the RIGHT stick, its not binding because i took the arm off the servo and made a mark to watch the movement, the servo acts the same with or w/o the arm attached.

RE: Blade 400 servo's
Im new to all this,I was looking for someone that had already switched out the stock servos, and I was going to copy that, all I know is there are servos out there that will react better then what is in there now, hopefully, cutting crash times alot.

Blade 400 servo's
I am considering switching out the servos on my Blade 400,but I keep reading where the tail servo has to be different from the other three,IM getting confused, while searching for a servo set,I came across thesein the enclosed link, will the work good for the 400,or will I have to get 3 and then another type for the tail? http://www.extremeflightrc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=24 P.S. The reason for the change is that the tail servo doesnt center most of the time, that and I dont really think the stock servos are anything more then "frame fillers" Joe Chesapeake,Va. USA

Esky Hobby ET6I Transmitter
Ok,heres a question I have searched for but cant find, the four slide switches,at the bottom right side of the transmitter, where it says under the switches "AIL",ELE" ,"THR","RUD",and to the right of the switches,it says "REV" on top.and "NOR" and the bottom, what position should those switches bein????????I cleaned the face of the transmitter off and before I realized it,I noticed one of the switches was in the halfway mark,so Im not sure how many,if any got moved while cleaning,Im scared about turning it on,to only set the heli or the trans in a condition that I wont like.......................[:@][:(] Its the transmitter that comes with the Esky Belt CPV2.............

RE: FIRST MAJOR Esky CPv2 craaassshhhh
Im not down at all,I love the fixing it back up again chore, and yes it certainly is a "learning experience",the problem for me comes with the waiting for parts,my LHS is on the expensive side, and they offer NO frequent buyer plans or anything like that, but hey,its fun, even with or without the crashes........................... Joe Chesa.Va. P.S. speaking of learning,I took the 910mah/15C battery=84.5g,out of the Heli-Max CPv3,and put in the 1800mah/20C battery=159.0g,and that heli NEVER flew nor handled better,I guess the added weight tamed it down, and took away alot of the sloppyness that that heli has always had,I like that heli,BUT,its so damn hard to fly right.......................
