Adding SMOKE to MTW canisters
Hey guys, I have MTW canisters on my 35% extra 330. I want to add a smoke system. Can I add smoke to MTW canisters? I bought the plane from someone else. Thanks. John Franklin

RE: Coleman Camper fuel
Well, thanks to all of you for chiming in on this subject. John Pompa just flew his Reactor again today. It does not seem to have any power loss at all. It climbs to vertical at about three quarters throttle and it hovers at about a little less than half throttle. The bird weighs in at 17.4 pounds. I brought my postal scale to the field just so I could weigh his bird. He runs a DL-50. The whole time he flies he just laughs and compliments Great Planes, DL, and Coleman fuel. He split the ailerons and put 4 servos in the wings to set up CRO. He switches into CRO and just laughs at how it slows down. He is a trip. Fun to watch him fly. Thanks. John franklin

Coleman Camper fuel
Hey guys, what do you think about using Coleman Camper fuel for Gas engines? A guy at our field uses it and it seems to work great. How did he even know it would work. I bet it voids the warranty. He has a DL-50 and also a DL-100 he uses it in. I love it when he flies. It smells like were cooking Hamburgers. Thanks, John Franklin

Hey guys, the NGK CM-6 is a little bitty spark plug. The BPMR6F is the right size but I have a bosch cap ignition from C&H. Where can I get an adapter to go on the CM6 to make it the same size as the other spark plugs to fit my engine. (BME 50cc) Thanks. John Franklin

RE: Peak Models 65cc??
Matt, I bought a Pitts style Bisson muffler (2 of them) from J-tec. It cost 89.00 for one. PN 05519. I went to my local hobby shop and gave my engine to them to get the specs. It came in a week. For the Peak 65cc the part no is PN 05519 EVOL/MVVS 1.60 W/A. That's what's written on the label. Hope this helps. www.bissonmufflers.com John Franklin

RE: Peak Models 65cc??
Those are a twist 40 plug-n-play & a Funtana 90. I still have the funtana 90 and also a FuntanaX 100. The twist bit the dust. Really it broke in the worst possible place, right behind the canopy. The wings and everything else are fine. I'm still keeping them. I just can't see paying $279.00 for another one. I don't know why I'm keeping the wings. Maybe I can put my peak in a twist 150!!!!! RE: QQ 86" Yak - Need reasonably priced 50cc Gasser!
CW, If money is an issue, this is the wrong hobby to be in. This hobby is a money pit. However comma I buy cheaper engines also, if its not a rush, you should go on e-bay and put in a search for DA-engines. Or you can get a DL-50 as RF said above. Everbody talks good about the DL-50. Check out the DL-50 threads on RCU. I have two BME 50cc i bought on e-bay and I am thouroughly happy with. BME does not have a good reputation at the moment, but I love mine. Good Luck my friend and have a Great Navy Day!!!! John Franklin

RE: where to buy carbs
Brad, I went to my local lawn mower and chainsaw shop and bought my Walbro WT-13 carb for $52.00. I'm sure you can go to your local small engine (lawn mower, chainsaw, weed eater) shop where they fix engines and such, and purchase a carb. Hope this helps. John Franklin

RE: Crashes how many have you had?
Well, I bought my first airplane(s) 30 May 2006. Mind you, these were not due to crashing. They were just high speed uncontrolled landings[:D][:D][:D] Lets see: TOTALED: 3-Hangar 9 Twists 40 1-Twist 60 1-QQ somenzini 73" Yak (My worst crash to date) 2- Funtana 90's- Damn, they quit selling them or else I would still have one. 2- Funtana 100x I love this plane, i just keep buying them Crashed & fixed: 1-QQ Somenini 86" Yak (Cost me $385 worth of parts to get back in the air) 1-Funtana 100x(Landing gear issues) 1-85" Extra 260 (Landing gear issues) WOW!! I never listed them before. No wonder my credit cards are all maxed out!![:D] John Franklin
