RE: Buggy Tyre Guide
Hey guys, I just got a set from performance devices- www.buyrccrystals.com - for $18.00 ,you can't beat them. They have a flat profile, great traction on hard surfaces. Try some out, you won't be disappointed. There banner is floating around here on RCU.
yeah looked at that, but they dont post to the UK[:o]
i'm not a megabucks racer by any means but i used 5 sets of tyres during the Neoinvitational race & that track caused almost no wear at all that was over 12 runs! the top guys cars NEVER touch the track without fresh rubber! thats a lot of tyres
yeah...but top guys are sponered [>:] [:)]. What kind of tires would be good for wet and dry grass? and would GRP Cubics run on similar surfaces to Crimefighters? They look similar in tread pattern cheers mike

RE: buggy noob usual questions
Go for the hyper 8. The pro buggy has been very successful and loads of people say its really good. Also you can buy the pro parts as upgrades if you want. The Hyper 7 is quite old and yes...its very popular but i reckon your better off going for something a bit newer. And its not like the hyper 8 has only just come out. I have a hyper 7 and its really good. The only reason i got a hyper 7 rather than a hyper 8 wa tat i wanted a kit (not rtr) and the hyper 7 was cheaper in kit form. mike

new to rc planes..advice please
Hi i have been into rc cars for quite a while now, i have both nitro and electric. I am thinking of buying an electric plane. My mate has just bought a hobbyzone begginners rc plane, which came almost ready to fly it was the Firebird Commander 2. He just got it to play around with and it was quite fun. What are the top brands, what are still good brands and what are 'no-go' brands

get a 22t or 23t mod, way better than sport tuned and not much more expensive. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJAK6&P=7 mike

First drift, spur gear stripped!!!
hey went for a drift 2day on my road, theres SO little tracktion with ABS!!! but its soo fun. After 10mins my spur gear was stripping, i'd noticed this a few days ago but i hadnt got round to getting a new, anyway whithin 5 more mins my car wouldnt move, the motor just spinning! it was funny but no i cant drift [:o] I've only got stock 27 motor in atm. when i was racing i had a 10x3 mod but i took it out for another car when i stopped racing electric and the no limit speed controll got wet [8|] so i just have the standard speed controll and a stock motor. Whats the Best motor to drift with? apart from brushless? mike

Hyper 7 TQ sport or Jammin X1 rtr ?????
Im looking into getting a buggy. I have narrowed it down to the hyper 7 TQ sport and the jammin X1 rtr. I prefere building my own cars/buggies/trucks but if the jammin is a lot better then i would get that. The hyper 7 TQ sport would cost a litle more with everything needed to run. all help very much aprecciated mike

RE: what is a good electric on road car to start racing with?
yes, TA05 is belt drive, TT01 shaft drive. TA05 is much the better chassis. Are you looking for just a tamiya car? Other makes do way better cars than tamiya. I have a TT01 , its ok bt its nothing compared to associated TC3 or TC4. Whats your budget? mike
