RE: Aquacraft Revolt 30
Mine had a faulty rudder to start with. Water cooling hole was drilled but not all the way through. In other words, no water was going thru to cool the motor or ESC. Luckily I caught it after the first run, it was smoking hot after a 3 minute run.. Emailed Aquacraft about it and they blew me off. I sent it back to my LHS to deal with them directly. Definitely disappointed about the customer service; I have had way better experiences with Horizon and my Proboat models.

RE: Venom Procharger Help
I'd try charging the lipo on another charger just to rule out a connection break of some sort within the batt that is tripping the charger failsafe. If it charges on another charger, call Venom for warranty; they are pretty easy to deal with.

RE: Venom Procharger Help
Anything displayed on the screen when it resets? Are you actually waiting for the charger to change screens after checking the battery before you press enter again? If so, the charger never actually goes into charge mode. You just need to press enter while it is in the checking phase.

RE: Traxxas Stampede motor issues
The higher the c rating, the better the battery so the 25c would be fine. You should know that the Stampede is pretty much uncontrollable on 3S; you will be hard pressed to keep the front tires anywhere near the ground. 2S will wake the truck up nicely and still be pretty much controllable with some restraint on the throttle.

RE: Hpi brama 10b replacement need help !
You honestly cannot compare the Vorza with the Brama. No one in their right mind will recommend the Brama 10B for any reason. You are comparing an entry level 1/10 scale brushed buggy with an 8th scale brushless 6S capable buggy. If you want to stay HPI, these are your only choices and the Vorza is by far the better choice.

RE: Pro Boar Apache 24 Upgrades?
IMO, you do not want a hydro if you are jumping wakes, they tend to fly when they get airborne and can easily go end over end; again inherent with the shape and design of the hull (think of it as a big airplane wing). Honestly, a brushless cat or V hull on a couple of high quality lipos and you will be all smiles. It may not sound very fast, but when you get into the 30-40 mph speeds in an RC boat, it's pretty quick. You can always mod to go faster but you will lose some stability. The Mystic looks nice; basically a Miss Geico hull in a mute colour and with the offset rudder from the factory.

RE: Pro Boar Apache 24 Upgrades?
Yes, a hydro should be faster than a comparably powered catamaran; it all comes down to the hull design. You can get crazy fast with either although it is easier to do with a hydro. At high speed, hydro's can become very twitchy and they don't run as well in a chop. Hydros are designed such that a minimal amount of the boat hull is in contact with the water while on plane; they skim the water while a v hull slices thru; the cat is somewhere in between. Why don't you check out some vids of the boats running on Youtube and decide what is fast enough for you?

RE: Hpi brama 10b replacement need help !
The ESC should just plug right in, however, any particular reason you want to go with the Brama 10B? This chassis is very entry level and does not hold up well to brushless power. You will definitely have problems with parts breaking if you go this route.

RE: Pro Boar Apache 24 Upgrades?
You also have to take into account the water and wind conditions and the batteries you are running so yes, while you could conceivably just pop it out of the box and go, to get the best performance you do have to set it up. If you are looking for more than the Apache will provide, have you considered the Miss Geico or Motley Crew? Both are brushless cats, RTR and will completely outperform your Apache in every sense. To be honest, the Apache is dog slow as are most brushed boats.

The DF03ra is really versatile. I have used mine on road, gravel, and it even drifts ok with a quick wheel swap. Parts support and infinite upgrades are also available. The TB chassis is more specialized IMO.
