RE: Traxxas Jato 3.3 help!! VIDEO
Yes, it is the bearing, its not grabing the shaft at all. Like he said clean it or replace it.

RE: Hpi Trophy Truggy = HB lightning Staduim?
The best engine overall is to get a good .21 and overall i like the Werks B5.The Hot bodies 3 shoe flywheel and go with aluminum clutch shoes(try different ones )with hot bodies springs with the 13 tooth or 14 clutch. This a good and the cheapest setup i have found that works great for me. Also try, take out the spacer on the wing holder, now trim the mount to fit around the screws , this will lower the wing and looks like the new stuff the other companies are doing. If you need any more info i have tried alot of things to make my truck more like everyone elses and handle better.

RE: Chassis Problem
You have to shim the engine really high or put a nonpullstart backplate on the engine if available and use a starter box.

RE: Hpi Trophy Truggy = HB lightning Staduim?
I had HB lightining stadium and i know the Trophy is the same truck and all the parts are the same. If you need some parts don't hesitate to buy the Trophy parts, you can also covert the radio tray to the D8 and i think it makes the truck work better. Also covert the axels to 17mm and run the newest low profile tires, this makes a big differance and go all with the carbon parts and plastic arms, blue heavy shock springs adjust your oils, also titanium turnbuckles and you will have a winner!

RE: what truggy is this?
Try and find info on the Thunder Tiger buggies. It is a TTR S3 buggy. They have photos of it in the dec 2004 issue 12 RC Driver mag. Page 32.Pre production model.

RE: Kyosho ST US Sports 2 questions
I don't know much about the us sports model, but i know the rear center cvd is much longer on the st-rr. With the longer wheelbase the truck handles better. In the long run it would be alot cheaper to buy a used roller st-rr than to try to upgrade.

RE: Kyosho ST US Sports 2 questions
I have two st-rr truggies and i would think most parts would fit just fine. The biggest differance is the longer chassi on the st-rr.

RE: Starter box with a lot of power
I also have the 12v motor in one of my boxes, while using the 12v battery it would not put out enough power so after struggling for a while i bought a 14.8v lipo 3200mah and it changed my world of starting my truggy. It gave it so much more power and i wil never try a 12v battery again. So try the 14.8v lipo check out hobbypartz.com and you will not regret it!

RE: Best RTR Truggy
We have raced the X2 rtr on our backyard track and it is good compared to the likes of st-rr,rc8t,lsp,losi,and 2 Cen truggies, the x2 is fast and handles great out of the box. I think for the rtr price it is the best buy.

RE: Best starter box to use with RC8T?
I have had several boxes and the blue ofna with twin 775 is great when you use a 14.8v lipo from hobbyparts.com. It has tons of power and will last all day. But all most any box will work, just find a cheap one and put the lipo in and your set.

RE: Hot Bodies Lightning Pro Truggy Engine Mount Question Please Help.SOME1 PLZ LOT OF VIEWS Few replies
Dude, I have had lighting stadiun truggy for a few years and i have had the same problems. All you need are some washers to lift the motor or make a spacer plate under the motor mounts, which may involve using longer screws. The best setup of course is to take the pullstart off and use a backplate and a starter box. Let me know how it goes.

RE: Truggy!!
The Hot Bodies Lighting Stadium RTR is a great basher truggy. Parts are the cheapest of all brands. I've ran one for several years, granted i have the better pro shocks, all carbon upgrades and changed to 17mm drive shafts, LPR tires, hardened diff gears, replaced the cheap plastic steering servo with metal geared(Hobby Partz.com) all the oils added the wing replaced the front bumper with the buggy bumper,( i think that is all?) Now i have changed to the D8T servo-battery tray this really improves the weight to the front. With all that said it is the cheapest to start with.

RE: Bulldog or Punisher body ST-RR
The measurement for the width of the mud guards would help me be sure if the Bulldog or the Punisher might fit. The ST-RR is about 210mm across. Im sure it is close to the same. Now i only need to make sure if the front shock tower will let me sit the body low like it is desinged.

RE: Bulldog or Punisher body ST-RR
I would see that the rear body mounts would not be a problem and i could adjust it to any height, but the front? Will the body sit as low as it should? And is the RC8t body the correct width for the ST-RR mud guards?

Bulldog or Punisher body ST-RR
Has anyone heard if they are making the new bodies ( Prolineline Bulldog or Jconcepts Punisher) for the Kyosho ST-RR or has anyone fit a different make (d8t,rc8t,2.0,mbx6t) of these bodies onto the ST-RR? I need a new body for the new race season.
