RE: What is my Slash 4x4 Worth?
Third person again???!!!!!
ORIGINAL: ThunderbirdJunkie You wouldn't get $2m for your B4 because as soon as you did that, ThunderbirdJunkie would list his B4, and undercut you at $1,825,000 :D
RE: NITROS SUCK BAD!! WOW, REALLY BAD!!!
+9999999999 just because you cant work on nitro...shouldnt bash it. well good luck anyway
ORIGINAL: bigdogkanicsar
ORIGINAL: quietnas1
ORIGINAL: topdogg11 I am so glad for electric brushless motor technology and availability so that my days of REEKING of nitro and exhaust and every other nasty odor is OVER!! The nonstop tuning, tweaking, rebuilding, exhaust noice, fuel, carbon, stink and filth everywhere are OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even a better reason is that brushless SPANKS nitro in power, speed, torque, and fun HANDS DOWN!!! For anyone too stubborn to make the change, I feel sorry for you!! For those who are just not aware of brushless power, cleanliness, reliability, maintenance-free, instant-light-switch-torque-biggest-grin-in-the-world-, dominate-and-embaress-the-nitro-guys-every-time characteristics of brushless, well all I got to say is TRY ONE OUT!! I did and I will NEVER touch my nitros ever again. I looked on craigslist to sell my nitros but noticed literally 10-12 nitro RC's up for sale EVERY SINGLE DAY in my area and other areas for the past week. EVERYONE is selling them, and I can NOW see why. THE NITROS SUCK BAD!!!! They are ON THE WAY OUT, WOO-HOO!!! HOORAY FOR BRUSHLESS, HOORAY!!!!!! WOO-HOO, BYE-BYE FILTHY, GUTLESS NITRO!!!!!!!! RE: Whats a fair price for this truck?
Thanks for the heads up but my lttle guy has laid claim to the truck!
ORIGINAL: Sigma.40 Sounds like your keeping it, but, I have to agree with the second poster. Craigslist is the BEST place to sell R/Cs. I just sold my XXX-T, Stampede and Evader on CL today and I only put the ad up yesterday. I also got my asking price, which unknown to me at the time was just a little high. I've had similar luck in the past with my Emaxx, Rustler and other Evader.

ORIGINAL: Scottgir Another thing you could do is, based upon you having the stock parts that is, make the truck stock again. Sell it as a RTR stock and then sell the upgrades separately. You ALWAYS get more in pieces than full setups. It's just a pain in the butt to do it.
RE: Whats a fair price for this truck?
Your right about ebay...i know it would sell there but the fees are a bit high.If someone makes a offer of 250.00 i would take it but the stock shocks would have to go back on.Thanks so much for your reply...does help
ORIGINAL: nitrosportsandrunner when it comes to a used RC (even one that looks practically new) you rarely get more tha 1/2 of what you put into it. that said, your rig is very nice. you might get $250 shipped for it. you could sell on ebay for more, but by the time you pay ebay fees, you wont really make any more money. i have bought a RTR axail ax10 for just $150. thats just an example. your truck is nicer, but i dont think you will get more than $250. you could also check your LHS. mine has a shelf where customers can try and sell their stuff. the shop gets 5-10% of whatever you sell it for. but if someone goes into the shop planning on buying a new scx, and sees yours which looks new and is upgraded for the same price a the RTR....they might be willing to pay the same. however, another thing about upgraded/customized rc's is this.....most prefer to choose those things themselves. while your truck has a fair amount of $$$ in extra parts, they are not nessesarialy the parts others would choose for their truck. RE: Whats a fair price for this truck?
Well....Looks like it will rot on my shelf. Thanks for the reply though
ORIGINAL: sloppyG extra's don't add value it's certainly not worth $55 plus shipping MORE than a new RTR if you want to actually sell it, reduce price to $175 or $200 MAX
RE: Whats a fair price for this truck?
Yea i know...the thing is mine is brand new and never even been ran outside.Ive got alot of extras that you wouldnt have with a "new one"
ORIGINAL: sloppyG put it on craigslist too, I've had more success selling there then here (plus there's no shipping charge) your price is way too high nobody wants your used RC when they could get a new one for less money the RTR version can be had brand new for $300, so if you want yours to sell you'll need to consider that
RE: Jato tire question!
Wow,mine must have been on sale!it was around 50.00
ORIGINAL: chevypower1930
ORIGINAL: nitrohead803 I got the wheelie bar at a place called VGRACING.com on the web. The spring in the bar really helps control wheelies in second gear! A local cop who is a buddy of mine clocked me at 57mph with the front wheels in the air!
I just went to that website to check out that wheelie

RE: Jato tire question!
Good to hear!!
ORIGINAL: chevypower1930 UPDATE! I installed the clutch bell and just moved the engine to mesh the clutch bell gear and the spur gear together... I used the paper method and all is meshed up well! I just got in from driving the updated Jato for the first time and all I can say is WOW! when I'm on grass with these tires and the 20T, It's tough to keep the front end down! It's absolutely insanely torquey. I can jam the throttle then feather it and ride a wheelie all up and down my yard, it's so sick. The down side of this set up is it's a little sketchy on road with these talons. Any sharp turn at a decent speed and it's trying to flip on me. But in the grass and dirt WOW this Jato kills it. RE: Jato tire question!
Tea with this wheelie bar as long as you just feather the gas you can stay in a wheelie as long as you got room! RE: Jato tire question!
These will work if you get the ones made for the 2wd stampede.PLEASE dont use 2.2 proline anything on your jato....they will split at high speeds! Anyone who says they will not doesnt own a jato!! Check out my gallery pics and thats my jato!I finally had to go back to black chrome anaconda because my proline tires didnt last one day at high speed. Hope this helps
ORIGINAL: chevypower1930 Whats up guys... I just got my Jato a couple months ago and love it....
