RE: my performance international 43'' fountain build
alittle up-date. in an effort to not cut a hole in the hatch, i ended up cutting the rubber boot off the plug wire. i needed all the space i could get. then the part the connects to the spark plug fell off. so i took some wire heat shrink and put it on the plug wire to hold the part on. it works good and now i don't have to cut the hatch. here's a few pics

RE: my performance international 43'' fountain build
ok, here's a couple questions for you guys my hatch will fit without the plug wire on the plug. is there any way to take off the plug wire cover and just use the wire? if i did this, would it hurt anything? i'm thinking if i just used the part that actually hooks to the plug, i wouldn't have to cut a hole in my hatch

RE: FIRST START
first off. take the idle screw out and the spring, you don't need them. to hook up your radio set. hook everything up, and center your servo's with your remote. then put the horn's on so they are centered of both swings. then set your throttle trim to adjust the carb higher in idle. you want the motor running pretty good rpm wise, when it hits the water. i launch these things by myself

RE: my performance international 43'' fountain build
ORIGINAL: painman 4MM allen wrench for screws for exhaust header, hope you left enough stuffing tube to enter into your stinger or strut, not sure how you are going to run drive line. Looks like everything is looking good, keep up the clean work as it will pay off in the long run. Are you going to be glassing in the stuffing tube? it will keep the tube from slipping. Good Luck; Randy
thanks for the allen size. out of all the ones i have, i don't seem to have that one or aleast i can't find it[:@] i left enough to go into the strut, it was in there when i measured it up. i glassed in the stuffing tube to the holder i made and glassed in the holder to. it's a nice tight fit into the strut, so i'm going to leave it at that. i've cut a slot in the transome for the tube to go through. this way and can adjust it up and down. i'll clear silicone the slot when running, so water doesn't get in. sorry, i should have shown better pics, i'll get some posted

RE: my performance international 43'' fountain build
next, i ran all the cooling lines. as soon as i find the right size allen wrench, i'll finish hooking up the exhaust. also, following the instructions that came with the exhaust. the pipe is set at 13 inches from the exhaust port on the motor to the band on the pipe. i will follow the instructions, to adjust it

RE: my performance international 43'' fountain build
alright, moving on. i made up a piece to hold the stuffing tube in place by the motor and glassed it in. it's kinda hard to see, but i cut it flat spot across the bottom. this will let any water that gets in the boat, flow right under it

RE: my performance international 43'' fountain build
moving on. i made marks on the tape, to give me a reference as to where i started. then i put a pvc pipe under the boat at the 13 inch line. then i set the radio box where i wanted it, to the back but easy access to the back of the box. then i placed the tank in, and moved it with the motor, while balancing. then i moved the motor around to get the boat to balance on the pvc pipe. took everything out, and started mounting everything. here's a pic of the tank tray epoxied in and the tank rubber banded to it. and the rail cut out for the carb

RE: my performance international 43'' fountain build
moving on. i got the exit holes done up, i ended up doing them the same as my nemesis. i figured why change it, if it works for me. any way then i measured up from the transome, 13 inches. that should be like 30 percent, you can see the mark on the tape. and some pics with my nemesis header on it, and carb air intake. how does it look to you so far? i'm going to call bh hanson tomorrow, and order up a complete exhaust.
ORIGINAL: Dreamin Hemi Hey Tony,  I just tried editing your picture however now the system dosen't let me re-attach it back to that post.  Give it some time and I'll try again tomorrow.  Happens to me every now and again as well.  Nice progress.  Getting ready to rid myself of several boxes that are now filling up my shop so I'll be able to get to painting your Nemesis shortly.  Have a few more hulls to layup as another motivator.  You bought the newest RCMK, right....the Evolution?
hi scott. that crazy how my pics did that, i posted them as i always do. so, you've had the same problem before? atleast i know it's not just me doing something wrong. thanks for trying to fix them. this thread would be no good without pics. cool, i can't wait to see it done and back in the water. i have a few different props i want to try on it also yes, i got the new evo with gizmo's new mounts
