RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna
TSHARK, I don't think it was out of line at all. You were absolutely correct that different people have different tastes and different budgets for those tastes. If he was not interested in the aircraft there was no point in even sending a message. People have gotten so self-centered and disrespectful these days.

RE: Top Flite Cessna 182 build
Here is what bish wheeler told me about his: The plane weighs just under 12 lbs. It is glassed except I use clearnitrate dope instead of resin. It's easier to work with (less mess) andit weighs less. Have not noticed any tendency toward high speedstalls. You have to kind of fly it right down to the ground as it wantsto float in ground affect. He has an O.S. 61 on his.

RE: Cessna Citation 500 Marutaka
Stick08, Unfortunately when I got mine it was already built and sheeted. All the plywood is still there. I don't have many options for saving weight now. I think if I can get a powerful fan and motor combo it will still fly ok. It is on hold right now while I finish my Cessna 182. Thanks, Nick

Mike, I know you are getting tons of questions on the new aurora, but I wanted to squeeze one in if I may. Does the servo slow feature require a digital servo or will a standard analog servo work? Thanks in advance, Nick

RE: Top Flite Cessna 182 build
Beckerk, I don't think the axle bolts are included. I just looked through my bag from my kit and I don't see any. I don't see them listed on page 5 of the manual either. I am not quite to this stage in my build so someone else can probably give you a little more information about assembly of the wheel pants. It looks to me like the wheel has to be in before you glue the top on. I just read it on page 46, it sure is confusing! I hope someone else can answer before I get to this part too. Nick

Dan, The Citation I have was already built and sheeted when I got it. I just need to finish putting retracts in it and figure out what type of fan system I need to use. I am sure mine will be close to 9lbs. when its finished. Can't wait to see the video!! Nick

Stick08, It looks really nice, wish mine was that far along. I am not sure if I want to try to put lights in it since it is already sheeted. Did you build yours exactly by the plans? I understand the motor mounts are probably different. Just want to know if mine will have weight simialar to yours. Nick

I am going to guess around $299.95 at Tower. That's the same as the P-51 ARF with retracts.
