Blitz RC Tornado
Bought this helo, took it out of the box, charged it, set it down, idled up to hover, damn thing went immediately to right damaging the tail boom, braking a blade. Replaced both items, told Bananna Hobbies and they said you need to bring it up to 5 feet to trim for hover. I said WHAT! Now that is crazy. Now I cannot get the Radio to talk to the reciever correctly and of course the instructions that come with the helo/radio are, well you know, not very understanding and of course Bananna Hobbies will not take it back to adjust for me. Does anyone out there have this helo and can help me get it set up properly? Thanks Rich O.

H9 Taylor Craft ?
I have a H9 T-Craft that I received from my Uncle. It is a very nice plane. My question is, are the wing struts needed for flying? Also if someone has a instruction manual lying around I could use one. Please let me know something. Thanks, Rich O. Conneuat, Ohio

goldberg Ultimate 10-300 plus Magnum .91, will it be ok?
I have a NIB Magnum .91 fours stroke. I want to put it in the Utimate 10-300 arf. Will it be enough power? I had a kit version back in the 80's with a Irvin 60 two stroke and it was pretty fast. I have read many forums and good things about the engine and I already know the plane is good, except the color could be of a different color. But still it is an awsome flyer. I will take advise. NitroDew, I to have this plane on my building table. I am satisfied with all parts of the plane. Stabilizer is a little loose in the slot, but should still be no problem gluing in. I have a new Magnum 91 four banger going up front. Also seen same plane with a nice electric motor in it. Guy says its awsome in the air. Looking foward to reading more of you build. Thanks Rich O. RE: New 81" GP Super Chipmunk
Hello guys, I have the Chipmunk on the way. Been reading some good posts here. I am going to use the Fuji 24 in the nose. This engine should help with the extra weight that is called for to balance the plane. I know it will be plenty of power for the plane and of course a cost savings with fuel. I am going to put in one of the virtual cockpits. I am not sure of the website right this minute but they have one already made for the Chipmunk. It should make the plane look pretty neat and its only $34. I will post some pictures of my project once I get it going. Rich O.

Hello fella's, I have ordered my MPitts and it should be here on 3/14. I have been reading this thread and sucking up all the knowledge that you guys have with this plane. I am putting in the Saito 180 GK. I will post some pictures once I get into putting it together. I plane on putting servo's in the tail section and the normal 4 in the wings. I have purchased a remote glow plug hook up, and a radial engine insert. Hopefully will not be cutting on cowling to much, only for rocker covers and exhaust.

Boy did they, they kick there own butt to the losers locker room. How pathetic they looked. I think to much hype over the last 52 day lay off. Maybe if the game was played before the Bowl games things might have been a little different. Florida sure looked good. They have some great players. Rich O.

RE: Nitro models pusher Bobcat?
Here are some pictures of my modifications. You can see how exhaust exits out the bottom. I haven't put anything on the exhaust yet to make sure it won't come off. Also in pictures I have put 1/4-20 blind nuts in wings and then use thumb screws to tighten up to fuselage. Works great. You can see I also put some Goldberg snaps on bottoms of wing and fuselage to hold the back ends together. I am still doing other things and will post some more pictures when I get there. Rich O.

RE: Nitro models pusher Bobcat?
hi guys. I am building my Bobcat and doing some mods to it also. I will post some pictures. As for the exhaust I have the blue silicone tubing coming from the exhaust port and going through the left side of the fuselage and exiting out the bottom of the plane. It is a pretty neat set up. Its only about 3.5 inches long and will not effect the performance at all. I would do it now but I gotta watch Ohio kick some butt. Rich O.

Try http://raidentech.com/bojet5051arf.html. Their website shows they still have in stock. I ordered mine two week ago and received it in 4 days. I am putting a Tower .61 with APC 11x7 pusher. Should be nice flyer. Also using a Hayes whip antenna. I will post some pictures after x-mas of my project. Rich O.

Hello guys, I have installed a BCMA 2.4 gas. It fits into the cowling very nicely and looks good. This engine should fly this plane with authority and do very nice in the aerobatic realm of thngs. I have uploaded a couple pictures. Without batteries the plane weighed in at 12lbs. It is brand new along with the engine. I will be listing it again for sale after x-mas if anybody might be interested in her. Rich O.

RE: Great Planes 1/4 scale Gene Soucy Extra 300S
You have your engine mounte side ways with the needle valve on the top. There should be a hole in the needle valve itself with a set screw. Match up a templete with engine needle valve, Cowling off. Tape it in position. Put cowling back on and mark location. Make hole with dremel or drill bit. Dremel recommended. Wa La, now just ad 4/40 rod (Ithink thats the size) to needle valve long enough to exit out the hole and long enough to bend an L shape on end so you can adjust, tighten set screw and your done. See the picture of my extra below. Look just behind the prop. Rich O.

RE: Great Planes 1/4 scale Gene Soucy Extra 300S
I have just about completed my GS 1/4. I am still not sure what to put up front this time. The last one I had (which can be seen in my gallery) had a ST2300 which pulled it around nicely. I am no 3Der so straight aerobatics is for me. I want to go gas but which engine for the plane. I had a Fuji 32 but thought it to be to heavey. What do you think about a Zenoah G26? Please give me your thoughts. Thanks Rich O. Conneaut, Ohio

RE: Great Planes 1/4 scale Gene Soucy Extra 300S
Captnem, The Futaba 3010's are ok, but with the large rudder this plane has you might want something with more torque. I used the Tower Hobbies TS 70 which has quite a bit of torque. if you use a 6v instead of 4.8v you will get more torque. Again I did not do any 3D with mine. I sold the plane awhile ago to a doctor in Mich. Somebody should have kicked me because it was such a nice plane I bought another. But again now that I have seen the DP SuperCub and I have a nice gasser thats what I want to do. If you go to my profiles you can see a picture of it. Check out my pilot. Rich O. Conneaut, Ohio

RE: Great Planes 1/4 scale Gene Soucy Extra 300S
captnem, Hi, I see you spent the extra bucks at Tower vs buying mine. Thats ok, I probably would have done the same thing. As my post reads above, I did have the Extra with a ST 23OO and the 6exa. You will have to buy a servo reverser as the radio doesn't support the dual elevator feature. There not that expensive anyways. The 6exa works just fine, the plane flew great. I am not into 3D but it does everything else you ask it. Only reason I am selling mine now is I think the Fuji 32 I have is just not the right gasser for it and I don't want to buy another, I like the fuji, its a nice engine. I am looking at buying the Dave Patrick Super Cub, now thats a nice plane. Problem is he wants $599. Lot of money. And like mama says, gotta sell to want to buy. Good luck with you GP GS. By the way, are you a Captain somewhere?, I am Captain at a medium security prison. Rich O. Conneaut, Ohio

Hi Guys, not sure if I asked this question before. I have the GP GS nib and a nib fuji 32b. What do you think. I have had this plane before with a ST 2300 and it flew nice. I do not do 3D so just flying basic aerobatics is all I do. I have read some threads and no one mentions using a fuji 32. Would a Evolutoin 35 with bissson mufller be better? It only weighs a few ounces different. Please help me out. Thanks Rich O.

GP 1/4 EXTRA 300S (Gene Saucy) ????
Hello, I have just purchased the Gene Saucy Extra from Tower, (second one). First one had super tiger 2300 which flew it well. Now I want to put a Fuji 32 B. QUESTION-- will this engine be adequate? I also have a NIB Saito 150. I would prefer the gas over glow due to fuel cost. Can anyone give me some advise. Thanks. Rich O. Conneaut, Ohio
