I am totally new to 4D flying. At this point I have only witnessed it. I want to get started. Can someone explain the setup and what I will need? Heres what I have: Spektrum DX6I Transmitter and receivers. [:-][:-]

RE: Let's start a GWS line.
This may be answered elsewhere, but, here is my question. Has GWS changed the type of foam used on the warbirds. If so what type are they using and what are peoples experiences with it. I to love the GWS warbirds and have built the corsair. I am impressed with the kit except for the foam (very fragile) and would like to build more. Another question is the motormount for brushless motors, has anyone used a different type mounting for the motor other than the stick type? [:)]

RE: anybody flying Ultrafly FW 190 ?
[:D]Just got mine from Hobby People as well. First impression when I opened the box was WOW. It looks great and low parts count. Can't wait to get started as well. I plan on using a rimfire 35-30-1450 with a 2200 mah 3s lipo. The weight of the motor seems about right and the rpms are close. Has anyone had any luck putting a pilot figure in the cockpit?

RE: Slow stick Forum!!
Does anyone else use CA Hinges instead of tape on their tail sections. I did and it seems to work great and looks better than tape.[:D]

RE: .25 size Gee Bee ARF
Is the FLY FLY Gee Bee the same as this one? I just ordered one from E-Bay and they sure look the same. I plan on using either a Rimfire 35-30-1450 or a Hyperion HP-Z3025-8 for the motor swinging a 12x6 prop. 2200 Ma. Lipo and a Electrifly silver series 45amp ESC. Which of these motors would you use? Will standard size Airtronics and receiver work with this plane or do I need to go to the micro size?

RE: Large electric warbirds 60 size plus,,,lets see em
Wow I love it.............[:-] I gotta tell you these are some great looking birds. I am currently building a Topflite Corsair Gold Edition. I am planning on going electric. I would like to hear from somebody who has done this for how and what they modified. I am planning on using a Turborix 833 rpm outrunner with a Turborix 80A ESC. I am planning on using standard airtronics servos. I have the bird basically built and covered but when I did it I was planning on Nitro instead of Electric so I need to make some mods. It has Fixed gear (no retracts) and I Don't have a clue as to what battery needs are yet... [sm=49_49.gif]
