RE: HPI Nitro RS4 3 Evo+ Vs. Traxxas Nitro 4-Tec 3.3
this topic has been asked so many times. they have different uses, the HPI is much more of an all around entry level rc and it it quite durable, while the traxxas is on the higher end of the spectrum with its greater capability rendering it much faster and much more of a challenge to control, not reccomended to people fresh on the nitro rc scene.

It's decent, but it's one of those no name cars. Finding parts will be a pita.

Take it to a hobby shop, and o-ring from another model may fit.

No, can't be knock off, that engine is a turbo port. The suspension design is that of a Mugen, but at the same time..

You dont mess around with the hsn and lsn on a new car until your out of break in. Set it back to stock settings then you can richen the high speed needle until you get it running ok then repost.

RE: New to site Just bought HPI Nitro 4 RSR 3+ Evo need help
Okay, Since I have 3 HPi RS4 models right now I should be able to point you in the right area.. This piece right here you really dont need because the aircleaner on the EVO+ is great already. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCCE1&P=Z The car comes with a aluminum tuned pipe so you don't need a new one.. If you are good with your hands you might want to consider porting your header pipe. If you really want worthwhile mods buy a set of CVD axles, really strong, then get a set of foam tires.. If you have $200 laying around after like 2months and you think you want more speed look into a O.S. 18tz

On-Road nitro cars really can't go in reverse, but off road trucks like HPi savage's have an optional reverse unit.

RE: Team Magic G4RS Kit Feedback
For one you don't put Pull Starters on these cars. It's designed to use a Engine w/ a Start Box. If you don't plan on racing DO NOT BUY THIS. These are designed for racing, not bashing. If you want to build something look for a new 18ss or something.. You'l need a motor.. 1) OS 12tz.. AB Modded? 2) JLR RED DOT .12 Radio Equippment.. Something 2.4Ghz. Spectrum?
ORIGINAL: itsdave Haha yes I do. Rice-city. I'm not really to big on the that. My last car was Acura TL which i gladly kept bone stock. This one so far I have ECU catback and intake. Good 300hp at the wheels while remaining smooth and comfortable. I think I can give your evo a run for its money esp on the highway.
Haha. Thats a good one. My car hasn't been dynoed yet, but i'd highly doubt that. I have a ETS 3.5in turboback, Buschur race FMIC, ETS Upic, Licp, forge BOV, hallman MBC. Just bolt-ons.
