P.S., I have the same car and have been modifing it in stages, runs great, and when you get the hop up bug, go to www.nutechracingusa.com (GT5R] parts, you will find evrything you need interms of replacement and aluminum hop ups. Hope this helps.

TAP, first dump those white springs, get FG yellow rear and red front progressive springs, PMT h-20 tires ,nasty grip!, loctite all metal to metal screws,to make the front wheels spin a little looser, adjust the spacing on the wheel hubs, they come too tight from factory.Check motor mount screws and header bolts. FG makes a rear cable brake kit for the Carson car, (same as ford GT], awsome stopping power!!. good luck with your new ride!

The smartech and hobby pro are all the same car, just difference in body style.I have a smartech mustang which I have added rear disc brakes (FG),hitec servos, PMT tires (H-20), FG air intake, Pro diff, I ordered it from VVTecracing.com and had a CY26cc engine installed, runs GREAT!!. Now I'm trying to decide on a new body, maybe the Ford GT.

A friend of mine ordered a mustang onroad car early january, still has'nt recieved it, everytime he calls, gets a runaround from them, i'm also waiting on a body in the same order, wont buy anything else from them, they suck.

Million, you can also switch over to the xxl axles and 17mm hubs, for greater choices of tires, put a wing on it,brake disc from the 8ight (for more linear brakes), gears and clutch bell from the xxl, just look up the parts for the xxl, they switch right to your aftershock, which by the way is a cool truck. I built my xxl from parts from ebay so i could make it with the best original and hop up parts...............good luck Bro hope you build your dream truck!!

Just get the new 2spd, i think it's # is kwoo8, smooth shifts no chewing up gears and only paid $79.00, but you can get vthem cheaper on Ebay. for lots more information, check out www.infernoproboards.com. Hope this helps you out.

don't buy that car, ok good engine but still comes old and fragile tranny you'll destroy it on the first run. That car should of come with the new tranny and other needed hop ups for that price, and no body?
