hehehe... okies... I guess he'll win! Now it's the better driver then! :-) I didn't mention which one I had. I have the sirio .27. The jammin is more top of the line and better! I didn't know it was a pound lighter... shucks...

RE: How to outline a flame
americans know what a sharpie is, the UK probably does not. A sharpie is a permanent marker with a fine tip point. Usually comes in black.

well positioned lighting... Like this picture.... it was taken under my truck because I had underbody neons... and that's how I got that effect.

RE: My car
I have to admit that's a purty car, but I've seen a A grand Natty with twin turbos, and he had totally no room that he stuck them up through the hood, and just dumped the exhaust out the side. Thing was just pure engine, loud as heck and that thing made 1000 hp. Was one ugly looking car though, but definitely had balls.

RE: Colour changing paint
you know that if you paint front part white and the rear black, it makes it always stand out when you look at it one way or the other, you have to fade the backing, or you can play with it, zigzags. etc etc. Have fun with your backing also.

RE: 3mm Offset wheels ... where can I get em?
you looking for these kind of rims? I've already done the ford GT body .. you can see the body I did for my friend down there also. It has the HPI wheels that are on the top of the website... the red one with those wheels. I don't like the body, the way it's designed, the rear is taped on or glued on, makes it feel flimsy. Really annoyed me. But it's a good looking body.

RE: Can a servo activate a brake light?
The switch is the best way. I have a bunch of those switches I found in my basement and I pirated them all into my little apartment I don't think my dad would use them anyways. My work sells those mercury switches, they will turn on if you do a turn, the momentum of the mercury wouldn't be accurate to your realistic braking. You do need to have a switch to make the braking seem real. Radioshack probably carries those switches also.

RE: Robinson Steel Gears OR Golden Horizons Aluminum Spur??
There is another spur gear at www.hobbyetc.com The GPM steel spur gear. I like the black one with the holes in it. IT's light, it's strong and it hasn't failed me. I have the robinson racing one also... My problem wasn't the teeth that stripped out, it was the slipper clutch that was having issues. If I had it too tight, it would melt out the center... if it was too loose... I couldn't get it up the hill because it would slip.... I think A) the hill was too big.... it was about a story and a half to two stories... and over 45... like a person would slip and could fall all the way down... hill.. B) I had the huge hotbodies wheels on the savage... making it quite difficult to drive up and down... good luck

RE: .26 picco in Onroad
I've seen the metal differentials and pulleys... but I haven't gotten them. I have the little pulleys, that aren't connected to the differential in aluminum. The top speed hasn't been reached due to the fact that the engine hasn't completely broken in yet. We'll see what happens. I bought the SG Shaft conversion kit for .12-.15 engine conversion. It comes with the flywheel, and the engine mounts and tons of different shims etc etc http://www.wolfpackradicals.com/html/adj_shaft_car_mounts.html I don't like the idea of metal clutch shoes, so I still stick to teflon's But it has a three shoe. The best shoes you can get are Mugen White clutch shoes, they grip AWESOME! I had a spare clutch nut laying around so I just used that...

RE: .26 picco in Onroad
I threw this together last night because I was bored and I needed a vehicle to break in the picco .26. Yes it uses a wolfpack radical setup and their flywheel three shoe clutch. I tried using their .21 conversion engine mounts however the holes were a bit far for them to work right, so I have their SG crankshaft conversion kit also. I used that to put it in. The engine mounts and flywheel fit in perfectly and it couldn't be a better match. Got any questions, let me know It's a Super Nitro. So it's the rs4 racer 2 without the hopups and a bit longer and larger wheels.

The pearl white has a light tint of gray to it. I don't know why, might be my batch. The spirit white is brilliant white.

RE: subwoofer?
Now does he want a sub for his porsche or for his rc? why talk about the porsche when he wants a sub in a RC? I think he wants a sub in his porsche. With that kind of minimal room. JLw7 13 is the best way to go. Best sound quality uses one cubic foot/about of space. Since you got all that money that sub would be like buying toilet paper. JL Monoblock amp, Orion monoblock amp, or even Rockford Fosgate's Monoblock Power series. You don't need to remove the factory radio. Just put in an Inline Converter. Then your all good to go! The JLw7 13 is the best way to go, because it's the best sound quality, most space saving. You need a custom box built though. Enjoy. I'm sure the guy in the autosound industry would know what I'm talking about.

RE: A-arms upgrade for GS SUT?
I haven't broken any A arms with my truck, the truck has the extenders, the extenders are a thick half inch aluminum core that are held onto the original hubs. I have maximizer rims and pin tires for racing on it. it holds up excellent! I haven't had any damage to my truck at all, nothing that I have noticed...

RE: Help with cans.....
to get that light silver effect... this is what you do.... Shake the can vigorously...... When you are outside... Spray the can so it is as if your painting the air.. so there is a big cloud of silver paint.. and stop spraying and immediately wave the body through to make the paint molecules stick to the body uniformly... this would prevent the silver from being too thick ... it would make an awesome paint job.... trust me. RE: New 300MM Viper Pictures
dinan... Twin exhaust actually slows performance down and it's alot of weight. you can check on ebay... I played around with twin exhaust before... horrible. It added about 3 pounds of metal onto the car. This Body is the Viper from HPI. 300 MM one. The Headlights are by Redline For regular cars. Best Buy Carries them. I work there so I got them from there. I use the blue LED's for the fronts and red LED's for the rears.

RE: Epic .18 any good?
It's a side exhaust. I got one... AWESOME ENGINE! the torque on it ROCKS! When my 2 speed kicks in, and since I got crappy slicks... the super nitro attempts to kick sideways from the wheels pulling and spinning hard... excellent engine.. easy to break in and play with..

RE: Faschange or Fasflip
fas change will work fine... But if you want true color change... Get SpaxStix. (The Chameleon Paint... that changes colors as you turn it..) Here is a example of Faschange... (the rs4 racer 2 is on ebay..) The faschange Purple is used on the splash effect. YOu can see red... and then a hint of purple, at certain angles on the car.
