I just painted a couple for a customer. They had alot of details in them the panel lines were nice and the button heads were where they needed to be. different screw heads, they are good looking planes. solid construction.

Thanks, Paint is the first the you see and the last thing you remeber that is for sure. and when doing any project you have to be meticulous with your prepping. There is a saying that I like to use for painting, your top is only as good as your bottom. I do this stuff for a living and I need to be fast, and have learned many ways to speed up doing these processes. Otherwise I wouldnt be making any money. But quality can never be compromised.

Here are some turbo prop Marchettis that I just finished up. The paint was all done in a base coat clearcoat system. the clear is a flat clear and has UV protection and will not yellow, and is very chip and scratch resitant.

I used my Iwata hp bcs airbrush to out line then filled it in and used my minijet. here is some of them assembled.

Ok here they are done with the flat clear sprayed on them. you can see how the clear evens out the color and gives a great looking finish. the best part is that they are just as protected from the sun and durable as a regular shinny clearcoat.

Here is my latest, Two Carf Model Turboprop Marchetti's. I still have to spray the flat clear on them then they will be finished. It is an automotive clear so these will have UV protection and durability.

No this is a Krill model so everything has the paint in the mold finish and it is a composite model so I prepped the surface and primed it the was ready for paint work.

Thanks Everyone for nice comments!! I cant wait to see it all together myself. I talked to Steve from Cheif yesturday and we decided that it needs to be hung up by the prop to display the entire paint scheme. I will post more as it progresses.

Not a jet but it has turbines painted on it. This is a Transformers 3D themed paint scheme that I am doing for Cheif Aircraft. I will post more as I progress.
