HPI Sprint 2
Looking for some comments on HPI's Sprint 2. It comes with a 17t motor, Eveidently an ESC to go that low, but I wonder what else is different from the original sprint. Anybody have one? Any thoughts?

Trinity T-Spec
I have been looking at the Trinity T-Spec for about a week now, & I am curious to know if anyone has one and/or what they think before I make the purchase. It does seem like a great deal. I checked out some reviews and it scores pretty well. Any thoughts?? Thanks.

RE: rc18t steering servo problem
maybe your servo is not centered... have you taken any hard hits to the front wheels? If so, you may want to disconnect your servo and make sure it is centered. Turn it on when your servo is disconnected and it should go straight. You can turn your remote on and see whats going on with no force upon it. If centering is not the issue....and you have taken some nasty front hits...you may want to look into a servo rebuild kit or new servo. I hope some of this helps.

RE: How fast are the iwaver 1/28 monster trucks go?
ORIGINAL: nitrobashinauz yea i'm getting bearings too, how much runtime should i get with 750mah aaa's?
Just a guestimation.....because it depends on what your doing and your setup, but I would guess around 20-30 min. If your doing a lot of climbing and full throttle runs it may bring it back a few min.

RE: Hey guys, in general what better?
Unfortunately, with this question all you you will get is comparison's and opinions. This is fine, but in the end, it depends on what you want. They are both great vehicles from great companies. Either you choose is the right choice. Good luck, I went through the same dilema for awhile.

RE: X-mod track
Yes, Tigger N. Bennie we do have some f1 conversions running. They are actually a pretty cool circuit. I was thinking of maybe jumping into that. Benthehen, the surface is a little rough, but it's not to bad and do to the immense grip the wheels stay pretty connected, but they can wear down quicker....especially if your like me and like the soft slicks. :) By the way, what is your track made of?

RE: How fast are the iwaver 1/28 monster trucks go?
I cannot vouche for the iwaver monster trucks, but I have a mini-Z mini monster and they are supposed to be the same. I can tell you that the stock motor in the truck does go a bit slow in my opinion. The x-speed motor and bearings should be put in to make more enjoyable. I actually lucked out, I got the SE edition that came with all these, but either way, the motor is not that expensive. As far as oil filled shocks,....I actually probably would have prefered them not to be due to the fact that it was overkill. It would sometimes actually take to long to get back to level position after shock was used. This of course could be fixed by putting thinner oil in the shocks. I see the new 04 Iwaver truck comes with oil filled shocks. Not sure of the motor or bearings, but it comes with a VERY NICE 10 memory digital remote! Can't beat that! A little hard to find those little trucks though. I hope some of this helps.

RE: X-mod track
Here are a few picks of the track. It is an oval outside with an on-road inside (it uses a portion of the oval as well). The inside portion has two sections that open up and and you go into the on-road track and when you finish the lap you come out and go all the way around the oval and re-enter the on-road track, or you keep those sections closed and its is a basic oval (also included a bank on one end).

RE: X-mod track
Another option for a track is this: Plywood, put a thin coat of sand on the plywood and then paint over it. This will leave a high grip surface. WORKS GREAT!

Micro RS4 Q
I have a few RS4 Questions. - The RS4 Kit, does it need to be put together, or is it a rolling chassis? (I hope it needs to be put together) - What is the speed like on the RS4 stock motor? (I would like the speed of, or near to that of my RC18T [370 motor]). - If the stock motor does not do it, what about this one? [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAYU7&P=ML]HPI Modified Motor[/link] Thanks for any information.

I would definetly say the dog-bones. If you want more, just remember, if one set of parts is plastic and the other sluminum..the alimunum transfers the force to the plastic parts.... ;)
ORIGINAL: kh15 i think im gonna do the rc18t not the mt version i just like the stance better on it and i checked the website and i can put a bigger motor in it so its all good!
You will not have to get the bigger motor. The Newr RC18T's come with the super 370 motor, so the only difference is the tires and body. Hope this helps.

RE: Mini-T OR RC18T??????
ORIGINAL: E-snake I have a mini-t and love it. It can be very fast and for a few extra dollars, it can be great. To say that the mini-t is not very "hobby-grade" is an understatement. Losi is anythig but toy grade. I don't have the 18t, but might purchase it in the future. I personaly don't like 4wd in a stadium truck. I am more of a 2wd guy anyway (maybe thats because I only hve 2wd LOL). Ethan
I do completely agree "Losi is anythig but toy grade" I have the RC18T, but the Mini-T is a great vehicle, as with all TL vehicles.

X-ray motor question
I am curious....if I had an extra RC18T 370 motor.....could I use that in an M18? It's fast in the RC18T, It would probably be even faster in the M18. Thanks for any input....also, if so, any tips on pinion size?

RE: carisma 1/14 f-1 rtr, any good?? mini z better??
I heard about them about a year ago & I really wanted one! They look pretty cool. As far as comparing them w/ a mini-z, they are a totally different scale. The mini-z is 1/28 while the carrisma is 1/14. I was going to get the subaru or farrari. The price is right. Last time I saw them they were 99.00 Let us know how you like it and any information on it. Batteries, motors, etc.. [:D]

RE: cen mini madness
ORIGINAL: savage kid yeah cen really isn't that good of a company
I know this is just your opinion, but I can tell you from owning a lot of different RC vehicles (I'm sure you have as well) and many CEN products as well...In my opinion they are a very understated company. Good product and they do not rip you as hard as some more familiar companies. In fact, if you look at some of the race results....they do very well (cenracing.com and go to r/c racing). I did look at this and this is the first I have heard of it. It looks good, but barely a mini. It is 11.5" long putting it about 1/12 scale I would guess. I'm sure it flies and has great off-road capabilities. Have not seen prices yet for it though. I wonder what it goes for?
