RE: ZIPPKITS BULLITT THUNDERBOAT
P.S. the scoops on back will be necessary to help cool inside of hull, and I would consider a couple more in front as it gets pretty warm in there.. I used the X-FORCE engine and ZIPPKITS pipe and hardware, only addition was a propblast pickup as head was not getting the water it needed and I doubled the lines from rudder to the exhaust manifold. Gizmo makes a exhaust manifold that bolts to cyl. and flange bolts are at an angle so you can remove easier.. I have to pull pipe and engine to change o-rings...pain in the butt Be sure to sharpen turn fin it took a while to get it thinned down and sharp.but well worth the time.I have a 500ml iv bag and can run close to 20min... the stock prop Joe gives you with ultimate hardware combo pushes it pretty good!! hitting around 50+ now...

[quote]ORIGINAL: jvdd parshallboatworks I love the cowl you made up for your boat. I have just picked up 2 Bullitt kits and was thinking of doing something similar, can you tell me where or how you made these extra bits I tried to click on the photo's but they won't enlarge. I'm thinking of one with a exposed motor and the other similar to yours as I have a rocket tboat done

N.Y.S. Championship series @Stony pond Canandaigua
N.Y.S.Championship races at Stony Pond Model Boat Club pond start this weekend.. 5/18-5/19 2013.. all are welcome IMPBA required. We are a new club in Canandaigua N.Y. and have a class A racing sight!!! 2012 Pond Enlarging Photos 2013 Race Schedule Photo Gallery FE Rules Stony Pond Model Boat Club, Canandaigua, NY The Stony Pond Model Boat Club was founded in March of 2011. We are an IMPBA club so members need to join the IMPBA. AMA members can run boats on test and tune days, but they must join the IMPBA to participate in the races. To run boats at Stony Pond on non-race days (test and tune) you must join the Stony Pond Model Boat Club. Stony Pond Membership Info We are located less than 5 miles from Canandaigua Lake and the city of Canandaigua. The driver's stand is 10 feet tall with a 16' by 6' platform. This provides an excellent view of the boats when racing. The retrieval boat is always fueled and ready to go. A 1/3 mile IMPBA course is setup at all times. The pond is owned by myself, so no need to please the pond owner. :)  There are neighbors, but not many and only on the NE side. The rest is farm land. There is plenty of room for parking, including RV parking. Overnight camping is welcomed and there are no restrictions on generators. Fall 2012 Dig Update: After nine days of digging, the pond size now averages 275 feet wide and is 700 feet long. We are still accepting donations to help pay for the pond enlarging.  If you would like to donate, you can send me a check or donate through PayPal by clicking on the donate button.    PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!  Thank you, Craig Mapstone 2816 Smith Road Canandaigua, NY 14424 cell: 585-350-9853 email: stonypond@gmx.com  come check us out... all info on websiteÂ

RE: ZIPPKITS BULLITT THUNDERBOAT
Same with his BULLITT!!! No bad habits turns wide open! Only issue I had was watercooling.. Had to add a prop blast pickup. And have had to patch a couple holes in deck from pull start handle slipping out of hand and snapping back. Joe is a great guy, he is a member of our club, but is moving in aug. and will be missed.
