As the guys are pointing out above, find any plastic supply house.. they may not refer to it as G-10, but you can typically find alot of it cheaply.

is it just me or the photos but does something look odd about it? a little chunky in the mid section and a little thin in the fuse at the tail? could be the photo or the tip tank in the foreground tricking my eye.

RE: FlightTech F-20 electric conversion
Ronnie pulcini built one of the cressline ones years back with a ramtec. it flew really well. at least until a stray kiddo straddled and sat on the fuse between the wings and the stab. no visible damage but next flight the tail shook off and created one of the most spectacular crashes in my memory bar none. he could help with cg and stuff i am sure.

Ronnie, was the flightline the same size as the cressline? that might be a lot of bird for an e-turbax

RE: How many of you know CPR?
Thanks for sharing this Buck! Also remember when you call 911 from your cell phone they wont know where you are. Confirm ahead of time who services your field. In Austin, though in a city park, we were told that the county serviced our field, precious time can go by while they sort out who to send.

heed Joe, get a decent body but if you are having to budget, spend your money on the glass. Joe, do you use a fixed 300 to get that aperture? i have the 80-400vr but am thinking the fixed would have been a better way to go..

Kevin, One time we visited he had been awarded a few pieces of the full scale model builds for the -22 contract and i believe he was focusing in that direction over the models. geez that was 12 year ago?!

RE: New! On board fire extinguisher for jets
i think sean has hit is on this one. I dont think it is going to be 100% effective due to different installs, battery packs igniting, etc. from my past knowledge (an infant is curbing jet rallys for a while) about 1 in 7 to 1 in 10 crashes results in a fire (we can check JPO database). if this device could trim that number down to 1 in 20 or 1 in 25 i think it would be saying something. as for turning a non-turbine friendly field into a turbine friendly, i think natural selection will be a quicker option.

RE: New! On board fire extinguisher for jets
i would suggest as matt has something more akin to a splash test. case temperatures on the exterior where oxygen is still present could be a potential source of ignition as well. i am not sure at what temp you would be safe, but in your video i noticed the egt dropped to 230c during the test.
