RE: Shorts Tucano T1-120
Yes I installed the motor just like it is and I have not had any issues. I about about 10 flight on it right now and it's been built since May this year. Due to my work schedule, I have not been able to fly much in the last 5 months, but I love the way it flies. I am flying it with a 3 blade prop just for almost scale looks and im getting about 8min flight time on 8s

RE: Inexpensive Brushless System?
ORIGINAL: eaterofdog
ORIGINAL: patzane I just installed the EZRUN system with 10t motor. I have it on my Rustler. What gearing are you using easterofsog
It was way undergeared with 2S lipo, so I am using 3S now. With the 3S I had to change the pinion down two teeth to 17t. You will probably need to gear UP unless you are running high voltage packs.
When I upgraded

RE: ezrun brushless
Ok I installed the EZ run with the 10T and test drove my Rustler tonight. All I can say is WOW. What I was doing on full throttle with the stock set-up I am now doing with less than 1/2 throttle with this brushless setup. I changed the gearing out to 76/30 and now I wondering if that’s too much. I ran the Rustler on a 3 cell 2200 pack and after 5-8 min of goosing it around the motor and battery was hot to touch. I checked the voltage on the battery after this run and was at 10.2 volts and all 3 cell was still go. Question: it this to much gearing for the 10t.? If so what do you all recommend.

RE: TGY 52
The more I run this motor the more I start to love it. I changed the plug to a champion plug and the motor ran like a champ today in the air. Since I chaged the plug it take about 10 plus flip before it starts running. Before is started within 3-5 flips

JR 2.4 radio Glitches
Need some help as to what went wrong. Yesterday I maiden my AT-6 with a new FTL 52 cc gas motor. The maiden flight went well. Today I started receiving radio interference while in the air and almost lost my plane. I was getting glitches on all surfaces. I have a JR 2.4 receiver and radio. My ignition is mounted inside the fuse on the firewall and my receiver is place far {over 12 inches away} from the ignition in the back of the fuse. This is my first gasser so still trying to learn more about them. Both the flight battery and ignition battery were fully charged. I did not change anything from yesterday to today. What went wrong and do I need to change anything. I have no carbon rod in the plane and the received in very secured on from and vibrations.
