RE: TF Giant P-47 or P-40.....opinions please
I have both the P-47 and the P-40. THe P-40 has a DLE 55 and is built stock, great flying airframe and suprisingly fast. The P-40 is just a tad difficult to land. The P-47 was an ARC that I glassed and covered in flight metal. Then I installed a DA 85, great flying, suprising roll rate and is also fast. No bad habits ith either one I prefer the P-47 myself. I have also just ordered the FW190 and I think it will be another winner. Lots of luck Paul.

RE: Quadra 75 in a Top Flite P-47
I just test flew mine last weekend it is powered by a DA 85, it balanced fine with no weight added. I am running a three bladed prop and with that prop WOT passes ate really fun. Great flying airframe, i say use what you have and enjoy yourself![:D] Paul

RE: Aeroworks
This is not just an Aeroworks problem, I just recieved a Pilot 35% Yak 54 from Chief Models. The canopy was badly damaged even though the shipping box was pritine. Because I did not keep the box I am out of pocket for the damage. Lesson learned keep every thing until a thourough inpection is made. My mistake cost me another $45.00 plus shipping. Paul

JL F-18C aileron servo
I am assembling a JL F-18C and need to find a servo that will fit in the wing. The distance between the top and bottom skin is approx .625". I have a couple of digital servo's that will fit but they only have 70oz of torque. Any ideas or will the 70oz servos work. Thanks

RE: Jet legend F-18 servo needs
You are correct my plan would be: 8611A or 8711 for the elevators DS168 for the rudders 8411 for the ailerons and flaps. how does that sound. Will the 8411's fit into the wing for the Ailerons?

I am setting up a Jet Legend f-18 C and can find no reference to the sero's required. How does JR 8611a sound for the elevators, DS 168's for the rudders, 8411's for the flaps and elevators? I want this to be set up correctly, Thaks Paul[8|]

RE: P-61 retractable ailerons
My Ziroli P-61 was built approx 10 yrs ago it uses the scale size ailerons with spiolers this is a very effective set up. If I built another I would use the same set up it works fine. Paul

RE: Century Jet Retracts
I have a set with scale struts on a Top Flite Hawker Sea Fury they have worked well. They have a lot of slop in the down position ans do tend to bend wher the stut enters the retract unit. Overall for the Sea Fury they are adequate, bearly.

Great Planes reactor Parts
I had a minor scrape with my Great Planes Giant Reactor this weekend. I have a good set of wings, a good set of tail feathers and a reasonably good fuselage that you can have for the asking. It is definitly repairable (covering and the area around the LG mount. It just time for me to move on the the next big project. Local pick up preffered (Sioux Falls, SD) or I will ship at your expence. [:D]

Jack Stafford Super Minow
I have just purchased a old Jack Stafford Super Minow kit. I would like to get some decent speed out of it. I am thinking of building it around a Jett .60LX that I have NIB. What do you guys think? Are there any areas of concern with these old Formula One kits? It looks like a straight forward build, my plan is to glass and paint it. Just looking for a nice looking go fast bird.
