RE: Large Helicoptere RC en metal 2.4Ghz 4CH
Hey Colin I think you were referring to this http://www.nitrotek.fr/2-4ghz-4ch-large-metal-radio-controlled-helicopter.html It seems to be a collective pitch helicopter and am happy you are enjoying it. Now the thing is where do you want to go from here...what do you want to do next.. Seems to want to fly something different? Cheers

RE: WHen lifting heli goes left.....
All ATValliance said. If you use a swash leveler in your set up, and everything is level right through the pitch travel range, you will find that. Sometimes levelers are not used in set up and the plate is a little off in the correct direction, that would make the slow take off drift- to- the- left not as pronounced. Cheers
ORIGINAL: dknovick
ORIGINAL: 9sec240 Dave, it is nice to hear from you. It is crazy being so busy right? This summer seems to have been light on helicopters for almost all of us here.
We all just need to become independently wealthy (or just one becoming filthy rich and spreading it around) so we can concentrate on the important things.... our hobbies! Now that RoboSub is over, I can concentrate on a motor driver for AMS Performance (you may have heard of them [:)])
Well said Dave well said.

RE: Struggling with single rotor basics V2
ORIGINAL: clp.eng Lull before the storm - overcast, slight intermittant winds. 1. Grab micro T-28 & head to school. 1st pack uneventful. 2nd pack lost orientation & smacked it into the gnd. Some thing is rattling inside! Into the repair pile 2. Still pretty calm. Grab mCP X & go out front. 2 minutes into 1st pack it drops out of the sky. Hmmm. Take off again & it shoots to the right & straight down. It goes into the repair pile, prob dirty servos (I hope). 3. Still not much wind. Grab KDS 450 & back to the school. 1st pack feeling my way around after 3 weeks w/o flying. 2nd pack a bit higher, a bit faster, a bit quicker turns. The 2 packs are feeling pretty weak as any punch, even a slight one, the motor bogs. Then it starts to rain! Pack it up & walk home - rain stops! Sighhhhh. Chuck
Sir Chucky You killing me with that part..I can imagine your face..LMAO
ORIGINAL: 9sec240 Flew at lunch yesterday with Scott (guy at work who bought a mCP X). He is doing really well with that bugger. Several of the other guys from work hung out and watched and even tried. Might rope a few more of them into getting helicopers!! :) Got two plane flights in from the rooftop porch of Nica's place. Flew the F-22 around and then later at night put the Nite KESL through its paces. I wonder how many UFO sightings there were last night. LOL
You got me ther Bro. Didn't know it was you hhmm

Oh Sir Chucky It is like the movie here now.."DEAD CALM" naw you ain't gonna forget one battery pack and it all comes rushing back. The vid of the EDF 82mph flight ain't top class. there are passes of the plane as I wanted to see it, but I'm not sure if it is worth putting up.
