RE: DRAGONFLY 22A OWNERS LETS TALK
Hey Rick Black! I just fired up my 22a for the first time. And wouldn't you know it, bent tail rotor shaft and now a stripped main gear on the tail drive part when the tail blades hit the ground from the vibration. Have you found a suitable resolution to the problem? If so, could you share it? Thanks, Pat.

RE: WALKERA 22A OWNERS LETS TALK
Hey you guys, I just received a 22a from someone and want to get it going. However, the main gear has been stripped where it drives the the tail shaft. Any ideas on where I can find a replacement or some other manufacturer that may mate up? I read you talking about upgrades, what, if any exist? Thanks!

44" Chipmunk Power Setup
If anyone can help me, I would surely appreciate it. I have a 44" wingspan Chipmunk that I believe was produced by Hobby Lobby in the mid to late eighties. It had originally been powered by an old 05 can motor like you would find in an older R/C car. The airplane looks like it would fly great, but I want to power it with newer technology. It also came with a gear box swinging a 9" propeller with the most aggressive pitch that I have ever seen. The pitch is also constant throughout the span of the blade. Very strange. The model is constructed of balsa, foam and ABS plastic. It cant weigh more than 12 0z. with no electrics at all. I need to find an aggressive setup for this model that would give a good balance of run time and performance, leaning slightly more towards performance. It is a Chipmunk after all. Top speed also does not have to be stellar, but good vertical performance is a must. Thanks for all of your help. I look forward to hearing from you experts. Pat.

Aviatik D1 Berg Info
I had asked before if anyone knew where I could find info concerning a D1 Berg for a 1/4 scale building project I was wanting to start. I have had alot of things going wrong lately, but I am hopefully back for good and would appreciate any info that anyone may have! I had several very kind people assist me before, but I am always looking for new info. For those of you who had helped me, thank you very much. I had one gentleman respond who had molds for the machine guns and the such. If you could contact again and maybe lead me to where I could find these items, that would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Pat.

RE: 1/4 Aviatik D1 Berg
Hello Bernhard! I am pleased to be talking to a fellow lover of WWI aviation from the other side of the planet! Thanks for your reply! This has been a very difficult subject to find data on. I have just a few resources, but none of them are very good. You say you received plans from the Austrian War Museum? I would greatly appreciate it if you could supply me with the address or email address so that I could contact them myself. I would also love to see your project if you could email pictures. My address is pgcamp98@aol.com. Thanks again and I will look forward to hearing from you! Pat.

1/4 Aviatik D1 Berg
Thanks Nigel! Another R/C Univ. friend put me onto them. However, they purchased the aircraft sometime ago from a gentleman in Austria who had done the restoration. Unfortunately, none of the documentation came with it. Alas, I am relegated to reffering to any documentation where I can find it. If you think of any pubs or organizations to try, please email. I appreciate any and all help on this one. Thanks! Pat.

1/4 Aviatik D1 Berg
Hello. I was wondering if anybody is familiar with the Aviatik D1 and if you would know where I could find documentation on the aircraft? I am trying to build an example from some very basic plans and need detail info in a bad way. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Pat.

WWI Fighter Info - Aviatik D1 Berg
Hello John. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I was on vacation. I have been scouring the internet for info, but much of it is in a foriegn language! Yipes! Have you ever contacted the Smithsonian on any of your modeling subjects? I think I will attempt to call them and the Rinebeck Aerodrome people for assistance. I have found many plastic model reviews and I am trying to get info from those companies as well. My email address is pgcamp98@aol.com. Champlan museum had very little info and really couldn't turn me in the right direction. They said they had received the aircraft from someone in Austria many years ago, and that he had restored it, not them. As always, anything and everything is greatly appreciated. Thanks again! Pat.

Aviatik
Man, any help I could get would be great! I guess I should just go back to the drawing board on this one. I have no reference material at all, but your suggestion of the museum has put me on the right track. I have a call into them today. I know absolutely nothing about the aircraft, but if you have materials that you believe would help, I would definitely be appreciative. Thanks again for your support and please feel free to contact me anytime. Pat.

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it! I am going to call them tomorrow. Do you know of anyone that has modeled this aircraft? I am building it in 1/4 scale and wow it is big! I let you know what I find. Pat.

DUMB full scale heli pilot (video)
WOW! That guy hit the ground like a wet turd from a tall cow's arse! Crap flying in all directions! I too fly professionally and in all my years of flight instructing and flying, I don't think I have seen too many, some, but not too many more deserving recipients of the Darwin award than this mental midget! He would have been better off just goiong to Lost Wages and at least having some fun with the money!

Fuselage Material
Does anyone know where a hillbilly from West Virginia can get his hands on the 2" and 2 1/2" downspout for these damn things? We love these to teach kids and have "real combat". The fight isn't over till somebody goes home in a bag! I found some on an trip to IOWA, but I am about out. Please help!
