RE: Stock Blade Pro motor
Thanks for getting back. What I am trying to figure out is the RPM rating for a stock set up to see how I am fairing out switching to a brushless(how much more head speed)

RE: brushless motor question
1st question ...what are you running for a bat. 2nd question ... what is your gear ratio. You could probably use it but may have to tune it down some it may be too high of a speed and tear the little blade apart. You want a head speed somewhere around 2500 to 3000(this would be a max.) rpm

Stock Blade Pro motor
Does anyone know the Kv rating for the stock motor in the blade pro. I have looked and can not seen to find the rating at all.

RE: Help got a drifter!
Does the tail wag back and forth? What exactly is it doing? If the tail is wagging then you gain is set too high. Just slowly a bit at a time turn the gain down. Hope this helps.

RE: help cp pro will not arm!
I know this is gonna sound stupid, but can you go anywhere else to try? If the servos are all twiching then it is either a signal problem or a wiring problem. Is it possible that there is something in your area affecting the signal(cordless phone, etc)? Also like Maniac said go over and check all your wiring again. Did you unhook any other wires other than the ones you have checked to rule out?

RE: Autorotation Set up
Dcs, I am not too sure if the blades are large enough to do an auto rotation. I know that on the larger birds because of the rotor span it is done but I think you may find that the blades are too small and the heli is too light.

RE: brushless set up and question
Thanks for getting back to me. Yes it is a blade pro. The issue that I am having it that the tail is wagging quite a bit. I have already looked at the sensitivity and am presently trying to fix. But , I am starting to think that the problem may be the fact that the gyro is quicker and more responsive than the motors can give back. I did find that in my dual tail set up one motor was burned out, so that in itself would cause some problems. Bought a new motor today so we will see if that solves the issue. But I do not think that I should have to change to a brushless or a DD just to use a gyro. I will keep you posted as to my results. Andrew

brushless set up and question
I just recently bought a brushless main motor, esc, gyro, and esc(so I can go with all separates)for the tail. I am presently running a dual tail set up My questions are these: what exactly gets hooked up to what, and what gets unplugged? I have it hooked up now but not sure if it is right and I am having some gyro issues. Is there a wire that is supposed to be unplugged from the one of the BEC's? If anyone has pictures or anything to add please post and help me out. Right now I am not getting any flying in so help is greatly appreciated.

Heli Direct/Helihobby
I was just wondering if these guys both sell the same belt conversion kit for the blade pro. The kits both look the same but the anodizing is a different color and one is billed as HDX and the other a 3DX. Are they the exact kit or is one a knock off and the other is the quality? Also, anyone deal with either company? How are they to deal with?

I would like to know what the best or prefered set up(motor esc) is for the blade pro. The main motor is starting to go and if I have to replace it I will do it with a brushless set up.

Psi, you got a Mx. When did you get that? And how did you decide on that one. Ihave been looking at the MX, Hdx, Comet 500, and the Heli Max(although same as the Mx). Everyone has a Trex and although I know there is a reason for that, but it just bugs me to buy what everyone else has.[8|]

RE: CP Pro Flybar Paddle Question
your paddles should always be level with the flybar. if it is a lift off problem (and you said you just had a crash) then check your pitch on the blades it may need to be adjusted more. hope this helps[;)]

RE: CP Super-Skids....
Hi Dave, and thank you very much. Yes the red is a dye. Any dye you can get from your local supermarket/craft store etc. will work just fine. You may, depending on the color have to buy a couple of packs but it is worth it . To anyone looking to do this DO NOT go by the instructions as far as time...it is plastic not cloth so the absorbtion is different. I let my soak for about 45min.-1hr twice. Mind you it will also depend on the color of your choice.[;)]

RE: CP Super-Skids....
have them on my cp and Ilove them. but the rear tail pcs are just plastic sorry. If you buy the white ones then you can dye them quite easily and makes them more of your own. If I were to do it again I think I would go with a brighter color. [;)]

RE: BCP Pro Stock TX setup-How?
the other thing you can do is let the servo center, then remove the servo arm and re-align the arm back onto the servo. this will allow it to be back at 90' if at any time you move the servo unplug and re-center the servo and re-apply th arm. hope this helps [;)]

RE: CP Pro Tail Boom
Think I gotta agree with "Custom" on this one. I had the plastics and had to switch back. You said you did not want to go with the woods yet? If you are new to flying(and I do not know) Istrongly suggest that you flip back to woods. If you are landing hard then the plastics will continue to flex and strick the tail boom...but the stress HAS to go somewhere.

RE: Cloaking Device for Blade CP Pro / Just for fun
I am glad to see that you broke the code. I tried it once with an old outdated Magnatron Flux Capacitor(MFC) to those who know. It disappeared but shortly after it went up in flames. It was hard to put out not being able to see and all. I put it on the back shelf only to give up on it. But...I am working on a gerbel powered pro...this should elimate the need to ever buy another battery...we should get together...think about it the only invisible non electric hybrid. Do you think the cloaking device would work on the gerbel...no wait a minute we will keep him from being cloaked then it will look like we are flying the gerbel [sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif] Ohhhh think of the money rolling in now.[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]
