RE: fp-t6fg/k futaba radio
Legal yes. Safe questionable. From Futaba's website: "all FM transmitters were built to narrow band standards from the beginning of Futaba FM transmitter generation; however, at that time there was no need or standard to narrow band the receivers, so many receivers were NOT narrow band. Wide band receivers are not illegal, but are potentially dangerous as they may pick up adjacent signals from pagers, cell phones, other channel transmitters, etc." Not sure if the rx is narrow band. Does it have a sticker on it that says 1991? Paul

Has anyone tried the old Sig Supercoat film? Any good? My LHS has a few rolls they are discounting to get rid of. Wondering if its worth trying?

RE: Cheap Chinese Ebay ARFs - Whadaya Think?
No kidding. The American companies are guilty of this too. How many different manufacturers do you see with some sort of (ugly) stick or Kaos variation? It's just the nature of business to copy a successful design and remarket it. They say the sincerest form of flattery is imitation. Companies do it all the time. Even Tower (kaos) and Great Planes (big stick).

RE: crashed my unknown stick
This plane is a "Rapier II" kitted by Pica. This is the plane I learned to fly with. Great flying plane. Wish I could find one now. I built (and subsequently crashed) the .60 size "Rapier" and still have the plans, so might try to scratch build one. But would still like to find a Rapier II (.40 sized version) Paul
