Futaba does seem to have the best track record for the bucks. The telemetry thing with futaba is mostly software and expensive sensors its available though http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/futaba-sbus-rc-protocol-reverse-engineered?xg_source=activity

I think patience is the key here. Key word wise using ebay I got about 2/3rds balsa kits and 1/3rd arf kits in the list. So if ebay and ebay listers(And quite a few ebay listers by out estates and dont know what the damn thing is they just want the $) So if your getting sick of it quit.[:D]

RE: RANT: The
ORIGINAL: Azzir325 Lots of talk all repeating the same old same old. You fail to see the problem. Let me try to explain it simply: I want an ORIGINAL part for a plane. The manufacturer doesn't sell it. THAT'S the problem. I can build it. That's not the problem. I can buy a substitute. That's not the problem. One more time for those who can't/won't/don't get it: I want an ORIGINAL part for a plane. The manufacturer doesn't sell it. THAT'S the problem.
Oh I think everybody here gets it. I just dont think most of them understand. None offem are real sympathetic. But it is fun to rant. The average lifespan of a arf isnt considered to be very long. Most people think of the arf as disposable anyway. I think you arnt flying hard enough. If you were youda kitted the thing awhile back and wed be arguing about building instead of arfs.

RE: TROY BUILT MODELS
19x16x54 @25lbs. apparently the weight of the package counts for something. So according to the shippers I got quotes for that size and weight. TBM is getting you a fair deal on shipping. Slightly smaller packages I have shipped in the last few months have shipped for about half that from the same company's at about half the weight(14 to 16 lbs). All the quotes that I got for the corsair package size and weight came in at $90 give or take. I retract my previous statement. [:@]

RE: TROY BUILT MODELS
Gotta pay Devins college tuition. No just kidding (maybe) The real of it is that tbm is ripping you off for shipping. Most of what you guys have quoted as shipping costs from tbm are twice what they should be.

RE: Getting Sick of this!
There are quite a few full size arfs out there. kits come in a few different types and assembly ranges. Ebay should differentiate a little better. I dont get the rant thing. Do you want people to sympathise or defend ebay or sell you a kit im confused?

RE: help me deal with this guy!!!
In the real world. I have a small service company. Many people will leave a bad review If they simply are the type who leave a bad review. I have gotten to the point where I can tell who is going to complain and who is not as soon as i meet them. After Five years and a thousand reviews or so most people see only the good reviews due to the jerk factor. I always make conciliatory remarks in response to the bad reviews and not one offem has ever called me to take advantage of my trying to make a satisfied customer. Dont give in to the jerk factor people will read the good reviews(especially if there are a lot more good than bad) and ignore the bad feedback.
