Kits
I'm looking for a plane to build. Prefer to use a lasure pre-cut kit. Is there anyone out there making good kits anymore? ARF's are too easy, really looking for something to keep me busy for the rest of the winter thanks all!

RE: What did you start with ?
I sarted with a SR Batteries "Cutie" selected this for many reasons. 1) it's a scratch build and I enjoy the build procees 2) Once you get used to this 3 channel beginner model they have a 4 channel conversion kit that adds alerons to the wings.. was a perfect next step airplane at that point. Later down the line, I added floats. Lots of fond memories!!

RE: EPP foam question
ORIGINAL: tam popo Hiya guys....the 'stuff' you need for EPP is UHU-Por. Comes in a yellow tube and is clear, no mixing. It can even be used to fabricate elevon hinges between 2 EPP surfaces. Here's a piccy of my BongoBug, similar to Liteflite Bug.....brilliant planes.
Nice! how fast does UHU set?

RE: EPP foam question
I've had a super zoom for 2 years.. LOVE IT! I found that neither of the CA's work well on this plane material, I did not even try the regular and teh foam safe ate away at the material after just a few minutes. use a foam glue or epoxy

Bugatti R-100
was bored this weekend and was looking for a quick project. Stumbled across a set of plans I purchase a year or so ago for a Bugatti R-100, a plane designed in the 1930's as a speed racer. After reviewing the plans, I thought this would make for a nice, easy building, foam profile plane The plans are from Model Airplane News "RC Store" Designed by Gus Morris Built completely from 10mm celfoam I'm planning on using a BM 2408-10 (BP hobbies) bell outrunner 8x4 prop 11.1v 800 mah lipo battery HS-55 servos (Hitek) I'm is sunny Buffalo, will let you know how she flies in the spring [8D] The first pic is if someone wanted to build out of ply and balsa

RE: What are your other hobbies?
I'm an R/C junkie. If I'm not flying, I'm boating or running trucks or even a R/C ice sail boat when conditions are right. Throw in a round of golf here and there and afew beers and you got me covered [:D]

RE: Question about AT-6 Texan????
http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id=A0320072 The above is the customer support area for BPHobbies. I've found them to be very responsive and prices on their products to be great. Tehy will ask you a series of questions about the plane and size up the equipment needed for you

RE: Pulse XT 25e Assembled Incorrectly From Factory?
On my Pulse, the servos line up perfectly with the airleron horns. sounds like there is an error there. Horizon has an absolutly wonderful and fair customer service department. My guess is they ar going to ask for the old wing back but should replace at no charge.

RE: Super Cub Pilot/Looking to try another type of plane any sugestion.
I would try the Stryker C. Very stable flight. made from durable material. If you are not used to the speed , you can set the transmitter to the low control rate.. a fun plane!! http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=PKZ4200
