RE: MRC info pleez?
does it have a carbon fiber chassis or aluminum plate chassis....the very first upgrade i would do is the lockers in the trans and diffs, 2nd would be trans gears, 3rd would be shocks anything other than the stock plastic is better lol. go to rccrawler.com they have a whole section just for losi's mrc!

RE: beadlock rings
if your going to do a lot of rock crawling the lexan might not hold up very well against a sharp rock but if your going to do more trail type of crawling where your not going to be in a lot of rock then i think they would hold up pretty decent...you could always paint the rings once they get to scratched for you?

RE: beadlock rings
not to be rude but if your worried about scratching the rig then you might as well just leave on a shelf. even if the the truck has scratches it still looks good imo like what dogman said its like a badge of respect and shows experience. if people were worried about scratches then i dont think they would spend $60+ on a nice set of wheels just to put them through the abuse. i say do what you can to protect the rings and once they get scratched then dont worry about it and really let it look like it should.........scratched!!!

RE: RedCat Sumo for a 6yr old?
i think the sumo would be a good crawler for him. there isnt much skill needed to crawl unless you run competitions some of the courses are challenging for both the truck and driver. the biggest thing is to make sure you dont get a wheel stuck between to objects as this will cause binding and if you mash the throttle stuff can break for example....(wheel hex can strip, driveshaft can twist, diff gears can break, ect....) i know because i found out the hard way [:'(]. on the sumo that should be as big of a problem.

RE: Best RC vehicle for $100 and under?
your best bet would probably be to get a losi mini or micro rc....you can usually get them used and ready to run for 100 or less but if you really wanna get him a rock crawler you might be able to pick up a used redcat crawler or exceed crawler. i did see that redcat has a micro crawler you can by new for aound 80 on ebay. i hope this helps you!

that sucks man and i know how you feel i have been scammed once from a member and i have had one bad trade....i made a trade to a guy in new york. i sent my crawler to him and i didnt put signature confirmation on it so when it arrived he wasnt home and someone stole it (that what he said) i put insurance and a tracking number on it nut the post office wouldnt insure because it was delivered.........the other bad deal i had was i bought a mini erevo for 220 and the guy never sent me the revo or my money back. so i have learned to really watch who i deal with!!!!
