RE: SwitchGlo on board glow system
You have a choice, constant on until you switch off or a automatic 15 second time delay. It also lets you know when you have a bad glow plug. All my nitro warbirds have the 4 stroke engines in-verted and with no issues.

RE: SwitchGlo on board glow system
I use the SwitchGlo on all of my glow engines and rate them a PERFECT 10!!! Very easy setup and very reliable, never failed me once!!! You can set for 12 second shut off activation or manually turn it off. I recommend you buy the version that has the glow plug cap, not the clips, a few dollars more but well worth it and they have the ground wire soldered to the cap!! I tried the clips once and that gave me nothing but problems, would not stay connected to the plug. Good luck!

RE: ESM Planes - RIPOFF!
Loopman, I bought mine at arfpromodels.com Last time I checked the 109 spinners are in stock. Not sure when they will receive the 109g (latest) spinner, but I'm sure it's around the corner. BTW, FYI all of my ESM retracts are converted to the LadoTech electric actuators and all of them have worked flawlessly. Conversion can be bought at MagnumRc.com, Gus is awesome to deal with!!!

RE: ESM Planes - RIPOFF!
I understand one's fustration, have had many myself but hey an arf is an arf, there is NO perfect arf manufacturer. The beauty is over coming the obstacles to see the end result, some projects are successful some not....been there done that...O well again part of our wonderful hobby I say! Keep the good work! My support on this side of the pond! Cheers!

RE: ESM Planes - RIPOFF!
Sorry to hear you had such problems!! I have four ESM planes, FW190, Bf109E, Stuka and the Spitfire. All 3 planes went together with some minor work and some were a more work, hardware replacement. It's all part of the hobby!! All in all they fly GREAT and all are eye catchers when I'm out on the field. I would buy again!!

RE: ESM 50cc ME-109
No offense to you but what the hell did ESM do in regards to the cut out area for the canopy? Mannn the plane in general looks awesome but the seam line when the canopy is installed looks all together (bad) wrong. I guess I'm picky lol, that's only because my ungle flew the the 109G! Anyways GREAT job your doing on the build and thank you for your posting the pics!!

RE: ESM FW190 71
Well I went with a KMP version of the FW190 instead of the ESM. Only because I found a pretty good deal from a private seller. Installed is the Syssa 30cc gasser. Servo actuated choke. Let me tell you the Syssa Aircraft Performance engine is the bomb! What a beauty and the craftsman ship is awesome. Currently breaking the engine in and will maiden her in a week or two. Can hardly wait to see the performance of this engine plane combo!!

RE: Saito 125
If your going to use a Saito for the ESM 70" wing I would recommend a Saito 1.50. I had a saito 1.25 in my ESM BF109 and Stuka and it wasn't enough power due to the fact that I had to add lead to the nose of these airplanes. They are manufactured tail heavy due to the fiberglass fuselage. But this is only my opinion through my experience!! Good luck!

RE: new production warbirds
60 to 1.20 ( 20cc to 30cc) size warbirds for me would work out GREAT. 50cc or larger are awesome but for me it's an issue of transporting them to and from the flying field. Yes VQwarbirds, KMP, ArfPros (ESM) models and Troybuilt would be your greatest challange. Awesome prises and shipping is only $60 for us here in the USA. May I also add exceptional customer service from Tomas at VQwarbirds.

There's always a market here in the US for warbirds and I'm sure elsewhere. RTF's I will NOT buy. Yes on Kits and ARF's. Can you post some pics if and when available? Thank you for asking us!!

RE: After your trainer, how long did it take you to fly a war bird?
Second season and started with the 50 size Kyosho Warbirds! I thought they were perfect for me! Good size and fairly easy to land with the exception of the P40. My first was the Spitfire then the ME109 and 3rd was the P40. Now I fly the ESM and KMP Warbirds. Good flying and good luck!
