I just reread the manual and your gonna have to put in the lower position. There is an illustration for it along with a seperate servo mount to stick inside the motor box. Page eleven shows where to mount servo.

OKay. I stand corrected. You might be able to turn the the carburator 180 degrees and reaccess situiation.

You should have the engine pods set up identical. The only difference in the two in thrust angles. Pictures would be very helpful.

95's will pull it just fine. I am fling with OS 70's and it flies scale. It does fly well on one engine.

What 3 blades were you using? I have zenoa g-26 EI and planned on turning 16x8 3 blades My first one had g20s and 14x9 3blades and it moved along nicely.

Yep, been there done that. I had a lot of trouble with these gear as well. You can not get parts for them. you have to buy a whole set. I bought Sierra's for my second T-cat. Way better gear. You will never have trouble with those.

Hey Guys, Ive been busy lately, And your all right, My hands are still shaking, The one thing that I did that may have hurt me was that I moved the engine out 5/8 of an Inch, I did it to achieve CG, Im not real sure of all the affects of doing this, It may have made my torque issues more noticable, I have not done anything with the Model since test flight, I have a lot of time in it and lucky that I got it back that way.[X(]. So at this time I have to rebalance and possibly shift the engine back. Any advice would be most helpful.

Hi Gents. Well, It flew. I should have have read this thread a little more. I took everything I had to fly it. I have some issues to work out. Im lucky its still in one piece. [:-]. It took a lot of up trim an a lot of right rudder trim and it crabs to the left. Im unsure what to do at this moment. I will have to rebalance it again. Here is a few pics, Hope you enjoy. Doug

That radial is starting to look pretty good right about now, But the Bank said NO! lol Im all ready at a dilema, I weighed it this morning and its gonna be about 35lbs. I got rid of 3oz in the tail but its not helping my CG much. Of course Im balancing it by myself with 4 fingers. Not the best method I know. Doug

Thank you Richard. [:D]. I didnt baffle cowl, I didnt see a need for it. But it would add some nose weight. The prop is a Xoar 30 x 12 wood. And of course a DA-150 for power. I flew a Gp GeeBee for some time but Im sure this will be much more of a challenge. I have all the throws set to spec. The paint is just aerosol shot very lightlhy then cleared. I dont think that I added more than a few ounces. The pilot was painted by friend in my club. The pictures dont do this model justice by no means. I did mix rudder with throttle right off the bat. Its not much but should help. Regaurds, Doug

David, Either 120 fs will work or Zenoah G-20 are plenty, I have G-20s on mine and it breaks ground in about a 100ft. I also have the gen five retracts. I would recomend the electric ones they now have avalible. Regaurds Doug

Richard, I bought mine about a year ago from a guy in TX, I am the 3rd owner,. Its never been buit other than the landing gear was moved forward a half inch. So, Im still deciding on a motor. Im thinkin DA-150 of 3W 157. A DA-170 would be good but they are lighter and Ive seen several run and wasn't that impressed with power for the price difference. They really perform well on pipes. I have had 2 Great Plane Gee Bee's, And thet flew very well. This is one of my all time favorite aircraft and look forward to getting many hours of time on it such as many of you. I plan to assemble it first, fly it, Than do a complete paint job on it. Doug
ORIGINAL: F82FAN
ORIGINAL: rcnut101 Well Gents, Im trying to finish mine up for the season. Got flaps working very nicely, But found I made a critical error. My right outer wing panel is off. The Right outer flap doesnt line up with Nacel. Should I try to remove and reglue?
I would just line them up aerodynamically (so it doesn't try to roll) and put the flaps down
