i hope that the trx .26 will fit in the tmaxx 4908 just like the picco 26[:D] so instead of buying a picco i might as well trade in my trx 3.3[:D]

RE: fueling your rc
ORIGINAL: DaveG55 Sometimes the answer is not as simple as ''fill it up''. For normal everyday bashing filling it up is fine. But if I'm tuning then I generally only fill the tank 1/2 full. The reason is the different fuel levels in the tank will affect the amount of fuel pressure being delivered to the carb. This can effect tuning over the range of fuel level in the tank. By tuning to a 1/2 full tank you will get the best overall tune. Tune to a full tank and you may well end up with a pretty lean condition when the tank is near empty. By tuning at 1/2 full the engine is slightly rich with a full tank, perfect at 1/2 tank and only slightly lean near empty.
thanks daveG55...know its clear, ive noticed when the tank is in half the engine idles, and when its full it shuts down[:D]

RE: picco P3 .28
ORIGINAL: ReaperGN The .26 red dot caused me to have to put Robinson racing gears on my maxx to handle it. Its the old style trans so yours might hold up longer. But it is still a beast. Combine it with a vantage racing pipe and some blue thunder hp8 30% fuel and it would be all the power you need. Going up to the .28 would be sick but be prepared to put some new gears in.
do you encounter air leak problem with your picco red dot?

RE: Revo Super Basher Project Complete =)
ORIGINAL: davidaxper I've been running that short fuel line for many gallons now with no problems. The priming pump I have there holds enough fuel to idle for 30 seconds upside down. Gearing is 17/36. And I anly have 3 tanks through... so far the off the line snap with factory settings is stronger than the 3.3 you can check the build thread for details http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9028582/tm.htm
NICE MAN....WHAT KIND OF FUEL FILTER ARE YOU USING?

RE: conversion kit
ORIGINAL: T-MAXXRich Well i bought the RD Logics bb Chassis and had the Mach 427 on from my Losi Muggy. But you might want to think about up grading the diff's if you are going to run that much power in a maxx. I also have a mod that allows you to put Losi Diff's in your maxx and they work awesome. But the Mach 427 was worn out so i bought a axial .28 to put in it. But i have no complaints with the RD logics BB chassis.
WELL I MIGHT BUY THE PICCO .26 RED DOT,NO MODIFICATION NEEEDED[:D] JUST WAITING FOR FREAKBOY REGARDING THE THE ENGINE'S PERFORMANCE

RE: idle
ORIGINAL: MeBaD I have a revo 3.3. Normally when your sitting in one place idling and the truck begins to ''load up'' or bog itself out, the low end needs to come up ever so slightly. (1/16 clockwize). You may need to bring the high end down after doing this, but like I tell everyone when it comes to tuning... little by little and try to do one screw at a time. Remember, the high and low needles will effect the idle overall (mostly when you are bringing something into tune that was way off) Hope this helps. RE: air leak
ORIGINAL: nitro_79 Is the carb the only thing you changed? I assume it was running ok before. did you check the low speed needle, it could be lean and causing the erratic idle. I just finished chasing down the air leak from !%#@%^. so I feel your pain. If you get no change with that adjustment then you may have an air leak it will make it very hard to tune, and will want to run lean. hope this helps.
YUP JUST THE CARB,I TEST IT A WHILE AGO,IT SEEMS FINE NOW,I JUST AJUST THE LSN,THANKS MAN[:D]
