I believe polyvinylester has been described as a cross between epoxy and polyesterin is really good stuff and makes an excellent fuel tankresists everythyinguse hysol to bond halves-I have used it for years

You know as far as scale goes I stuck with Byrons shape-the exhaust in true scale would be smaller but then it would be too small for the 400 AMT I installed in mine. Besides I really like the look of the larger exhaust tube over scalemy 2 cents

Sure what do you want to knowI installed the steam and foam injection system-helped John in my spare timethe alum molds were left out side over night and someone scaped them-I think the bd verticals were part of that -and they did have a fire but I believe that was before we were there. I was there for the first 5 years

I was planning to-but my plate is so full right now I could screem trying to get the batwing ready for Toledo this yeareventually I'll be laying them up-the unit you see is all composite Nomex construction (same as dragon) I'm currently switching out the robart struts for trailing link

He needs a new heat exchanger for the steam generator-it blew a hole and was welded once but blew a couple moreabout 8 grand for the coilI did manage to get a set of molds of the bd-built a bigger one-55%-

Actually been holding off on flying it-the discovery channel is interested in it and I would not want anything to happen to it until they are donehope to have something soon -rc pilot will be doing the vid- I have a second unit I'm working onlooks like an infestation

RC Pilot Magazine experience
Just had my first taste of an interactive magazineWOW-had no idea how well that this type of media could convey the rc hobby. Reading is something I enjoy but this has really opened up a whole new world!!!!! Ya gotta try it!!!!

Actuallythe judges explained that the rules were geared toward scale competition (mine had over 600 airbrushed scales) how scale can you get!!?? They felt that I would have a better chance in sportthey were really helping me out-they had to go through a lot to change things-nice of them!!! And yes -the P 80 just supplies fire for the mouththe fuse - really is just full of helium for lift and little electric fans in it's rear end for thrust
