Ok. I just used a series adapter on the ESC but your way may be better long term.

It is actually pre-wired so you just pick a location to mount it that works well for your batteries and esc.

RE: 8FG programming issue
Bax got it to wokr on channel 7. It goes on and off with the LD knob. How ever if I shut off my radio the optokill led stays on. Do I need to set up a Failsafe for channel 7?

RE: 8FG programming issue
Thanks, Bax. You may be right. I think a problem could have been channel 7 was assigned to VPP I am going reassign it.

8FG programming issue
I have owned a series of Futaba computer radios but the 8FG seems to be the least intuitive for me. I am setting up a RCxcel opto kill switch. I have an 8-channel Rc6208SB receiver. I need to setup a mix in my radio so I can kill the engine ignition from my radio. I placed placed the pmix on the rotary LD switch. I have the opto kill switch servo lead in channel 7. I assign the slave channel as AUX1. I can't seem to make the mix shut off the optotkill.

Recommended Throttle servo for a 30cc engine
I had my throttle servo failed(just stopped working fortunately on the ground) on a used plane I bought. Had a HS635HB. Not much experience with gas engines so I am wondering what servo I should use? How much torque? Metal gear, karbonite, etc. Any tips appreciated. I do not want do overkill, but do not want to undersize it either.

Starter for gas engine
I have a strong battery operated starter that I use for glow. It works fine with my DLE-30, but someone told me it spins my engine too fast. Is that valid concern?

HS985MG servo issue
I recently bought plane with 4 - HS-965MG using a LiFe battery Two of the servos periodically jump sightly just sitting. Deflection is small but noticeable. Is this a sign the servos are going bad? Any suggestions?

Fasst receiver location
I am putting a 8 channel R6208 SB FASST receiver in my 3DHS 72" Extra, The prime location for my receiver is near the carbon wing tube. Is it a potential problem to place my receiver here with one of the antennas next to the carbon tube? Thanks

Evo setup
I have been flying my Evo 50 for about a year and want to do some more advanced flying including inverted flight, etc. I set up my servo arms and control length strictly by the manual. My servos throws are set to 100% in my radio. One of the more advanced pilot in our club flew it and said I need more cyclic throw and said I need to move balls out on the servo arm to get more throw. I looked at Evo manual and there are no setups for more aggressive 3D flying. So before I try to setup my heli again by changing the servo arms, I want to find out if that if what I need to do that to get more throw.

RE: 10C and ailevator
Krysta I tried your suggestion using a mix to set up the dual elevator servos via a mix, but I could never get equal deflections on both servos so I bought a R6008Hs. I am now trying to the 10c's built-in ailevator function. That aileron mix is now active (old elevator mix now inhibited) and the two elevator servos are in channels 2 and 8. However, only the right elevator servo (right) works. The The left one (channel 8) does not work with the elevator. It does (channel 8 servo) however seem to work with the aileron stick. I notice the last channel is classified as 7/8. Does it need be configured to channel 8? Any ideas what is wrong? Thanks.
