RE: AR6200 Receiver from oomodel.com
ok i did a range check with my dx7 today on all my rx's. 1 ar6100e, 1ar7000, 1 ar6200, and the 2 OOMODEL ar6200's. checked the rang by holding bind button and walking away from the rx. with all the rx's i was able to walk the whole length of a football field 300ft so i stopped testing beyond that point. to me that shows these rx's are well worth the $26.00 they want for them. i can tell the wires and plastic used are different then my real spektrum rx's but they bind and range check the same.

RE: AR6200 Receiver from oomodel.com
ok, i received the RX's yesterday 6/15/11 only took 12 days from china to california from purchase date and paid just under $60 total for 2 ar6200's they bind perfectly and are great quality i would say they are the real deal and a great price. i will do a range ckeck later today and post the results.

RE: AR6200 Receiver from oomodel.com
the same website was selling the older dsm2 dx6i's pretty cheap until they sold out because spektrum changed to the new dsmx. my local hobby shop had some of the older dsm2 dx6i's and was told to send back for restocking of the dsmx dx6i's, so it makes you wounder what happened to all the old stock in china where all the spektrum stuff is made? no one has said anything about these rx's that i can find so to me its worth the gamble i will let everyone know when i receive them, but they do claim they are spektrum and sell under the U.S. patent

RE: AR6200 Receiver from oomodel.com
just ordered 2 ar6200's from oomodel website and cost $59.00 shipped to CA. i know spektrum pulled the dsm2 ar6200 from production to produce the new dsmx/dsm2 version so i think this is left over stock in chinas production line. well i gues i will find out but 2 ar6200's for less then the price of 1 here in the U.S. sounds great

nice to hear you are putting the sc10gt-e together! post up some pics. as far as gearing goes i am not to sure. and the stock arms should hold up a little while but you should find some RPM arms

just installed my DX7 on this plane and it stoped all the servo glitching! also picked up a 25c 2200mah lipo compared to stock 15c 1800mah should be alot more power not that it needs anymore. should also fly alot better with the new radio system!!!

RE: WD-40
i have alway's used WD-40 as a cleaner for my cars. it breaks down the dirt and oil left after playing and seems to restore old plastic parts that get brittle( for example after spraying nitro cleaner plastic parts stain white and are dried out, spraying the whole chassis with WD-40 and let sit about 10 minutes then blow and wipe off as much as possible you car will be like new) also clean's electric parts really good just my experiance, if this is wrong let me know if you dont have after run oil and dont plan on buying any then use WD-40 but if you care about your engine and want it to last a 3 dollar bottle of oil seems pretty stupid to question!

RE: Torque steer RC10GT
spin your spur gear by hand while holding the back of the truck off the ground, do both tires spin free or does the diff kick in? it does not sound like the tranny at all! if you are useing dogbones try pulling them out and spining each wheel to see if they spin free! if you are useing cvd's do the same just pull off the camber link so the cvd is not in the diff! make sure the proper amount of washers are instaled and that they still have a little slop when the wheel is fully secured! i hope this solves your problem thats got to be agrovating
