RE: How to remove the Flywheel nut please help
I put the flywheel in a vise. Loosen the nut (8mm deep socket) untill its a couple threads still on, remove the ratchet but leave the socket on the nut and then pop the end of the socket with your forhead (or other suitable striking device) and this will get the flywheel to release the collet underneath. Remove from vise and finish removing the nut. No prying required.

RE: Getting Bored of RB .23... What HAS MORE POWER!?!?!
I went from an RB TM323 to a Wasp .26 and the difference was like when I went from the 2.5R to the 323. The RB isn't even in the same league.

RE: RB 323 PROBLEMS
Sounds like maybe your HSN housing may be loose. See if the fitting where your fuel line attaches to the carb is loose... pretty common on this engine.

RE: TSAIS DUAL EXHAUST FOR REVO
ORIGINAL: revocrazy905 so should i buy it or not
Perhaps you should wait until someone who has used the pipe rings in, you haven't gotten anything worthy of any merrit here. The idea that 2 exits means it can't work properly is silly. If the orifices exiting the expansion chamber were of the correct size and shape, you could have 10 exits and still function properly.

RE: TSAIS DUAL EXHAUST FOR REVO
ORIGINAL: SYCOTICK R/C Ok even on real motors in real cars if you take away backpressure you loose low end torque.
Yours is sometimes true, but you would need to include more information. Seems alot of people like to think they "know" then type things that show they don't. I don't have this pipe so I was curious to know if it was any good...perhaps its not, but if neither of you have any experience with it then your "opinion" doesn't mean much. I have read other posts about this pipe and it seems to be the same... most of the people who have it like it and most of the people that say it produces inferior performance have no first-hand observation on which to base an accurate review.
(can't supercharge a 2-stroke)
Not true, though it would probably only function as a cleaning device on a small nitro engine and not build boost. but anyway...do you have one of these pipes?

RE: Faster/Reliable?
"Faster" is kinda relative. With stock gears, the RB wheelies pretty easy so you'd hafta have better throttle control to keep with a TM out of the hole, but the TM is gonna give you the torque to run taller gears and have equal accel with the TM and get higher top speed. The TM sucks down a lotta fuel though [:)] I guess ya really need to be more specific than "faster."

RE: 40 Series concerns & questions
ORIGINAL: Marshall Dillon I've been eyeballing the 40 Series Cheyenne Weld wheels with Bow-Tie tires, as they really offer the precise look I'm going after for my REVO. However, I'm wondering about the performance resulting from the change and I have a couple of questions: 1) Will the Cheyenne Weld Wheels damage my wheel bearings or cause them to wear more quickly (I have read this on several online forums)? 2) Quote from www.prolineracing.com regarding the 40 Series Wabash wheels, "Want to add some character to your beast without sacrificing performance?" Based on that statement, I'm assuming that other 40 Series wheels, including the Cheyenne Weld wheels, are going to sacrifice performance in some way since they're not made specifically for the REVO, correct? If so, in what manner? I'd like to go with the Cheyenne Weld/Bow-Tie combo but I'm also looking at the Traxxas Hurricane/SportTraxx combo. Thoughts? Here's a shot of her as she sits today... The wabash are the only proline 40 series wheels with the correct Revo offset. Go here http://www.pro-lineracing.com/proline.html look at the wabash wheels, click the "more info" under the pic of the wabash wheel then in that info, click "wheel guide." This will explain the offsets in pretty good detail w/ pictures [:D] More offset in a wheel does put more force on the outer bearing so it will reduce thier service life some but the fact of the matter is that most people dont know how to set thier bearings hubs, and hexes up properly and the other offsets just compound this problem.

RE: how do you remove and replace the piviot ball in the axle carrier
If the ball popped out, check around the hole it came from, ofen times its cracked. Also, I suggest a new carrier as that ball will pop out easier next time. Scroll to page 35 (adjusting the pivot ball caps) and you'll see the tool used for adjusting the pivot ball cap. Use that tool to remove the cap...drop your pivot ball in, then properly tighten the cap. Stick your allen wrench through the dust boot and into the pivot ball and turn it into your control arm. http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitro/revo/blueprints/040428_revo_manual.pdf

RE: removing opti drive
Just remove the optidrive and plug the reverse-servo directly into your receiver. You will still have your reverse but you will also be able to hit reverse while you're still going forward, which will munch your tranny gears so be sure you're always stopped before hitting reverse [:D]
