Turnigy Accucell 6 - charger......$25...... you will need to buy a 5A power supply for it though....just look for it at ebay... As for lipo....i suggest you use 5000mah 40C 2S.....not 3S......

RE: Official HPI Savage Flux XS thread...
if you got little money, just buy the xs flux.... the flux HP is at least $700 - $800 to get it running.....and the X0-1 is even more expensive....for its speed, you'll not enjoy it for long before you need to spend on replacements parts from Traxxas again.... Or get a losi mini 8ight...cheaper than the xs flux

RE: Official HPI Savage Flux XS thread...
check the spline required for the traxxas servo....the stock hpi servo is using 24 spline i think.....you should have some other spline combos in your spare bag that comes with the truck....

RE: Official HPI Savage Flux XS thread...
pma13 - the short-circuited motor cable that you mentioned in the pics, is it the problem that's causing the ESC not to have the beeping sound?.....tbh, i'm not sure if the bad insulation is the main cause of it though.... my stock esc was having the same issue, with no sound, only red/green lights when rev/fwd on the trigger....the motor was able to spin as well... so i swapped out the stock esc for an mmp....and the motor came back to life!....if the issue was with the motor cable insulation, then putting the mmp in may still experience the same problem, but it didnt....unless of course the mmp is of a better quality (which obv is).... has anyone verified on their motors if the cable insulation is worn as well?...

RE: Official HPI Savage Flux XS thread...
it's almost (if not same) the same size as the 1/16 summit....only the summit is much lighter.... i have no problems running it stock on 2S....and doing backflips over a home-made ramp....nothing has yet been broken, but i'm sure there will be in time to come....but it's a great truck RTR out of the box...you cant complain for that price.....you pay the same for a mini revo isnt it?....and half the world is making mods to a mini revo!....
